Definitely a nepo baby, look at the people she hangs around with. All are red family elites. They all move in the same privileged circles. She definitely did not get lead roles for her stellar looks or acting abilities lol! Anyone with a working brain who has watched her dramas can see that. Plus people who watch Chinese dramas and follow their entertainment news know how much importance is given to idol actor’s looks. I am a fan of c dramas for more than five years now and know very well how unforgiving Chinese fans are when it comes to looks and talent.
I have dropped a couple of dramas starring this actress in the past because her characters were so similar…the annoying dumb clumsy and trying to be naive Lolita type school / uni student. Always wondered how she managed to get FL lead roles since she is uncharismatic on screen, average looking and frankly a terrible actress. Especially since Chinese entertainment is notorious for focusing only on looks when it comes to idol actors. It was only after the tragic Yu Menglong case it became obvious she has a powerful elite family behind her. No wonder she easily got lead roles when so many more talented and prettier actresses still struggle to break into lead positions. I hope all these vile people behind Yu Menglong’s passing suffer horrendous pain and beg for death like how he did. Karma will get you murderers. #justiceforyumenglong🐟 RIP.
