The radio version, to me, had much more powerful impact. It had a lot more indent on the characters emotions with the additional scenes. Although Susu said the same lines in both tower sequence, she expressed them differently in the two versions.

In the book, she said those words with disappointment, resentment and resolve about their moments together and how he threw them all away because of his game she grew tired of playing that she wanted to leave him for good, hoping to go back to her home with her loving family even if it means her death.

In the radio format, Susu expressed them with great sadness & pain when she started the marrow transplant. She gave her last blessing to him, hoping he would followed her wish to stop being a demon & become God. She then prayed with all might brokenheartedly, she never want to see him again.

I like that in the radio drama, Curve Jade had her final moment talking to Tantai Jin during the marrow transplant. This showed how much she understands him as she expresses with sadness the consequences of losing the person he truly loved but failed to cherish till her last moment since it's all too late for him.
