Hahahaha. I'll have to agree that Xiao Lin, boring as he was, was my favourite of the three. Although I also liked…
I like JiWu better in the immortal act of the original story. Xiao Lin, on the other hand, was so much better in the live drama than his counterpart with his bromance with Tantai Jin.
Yes, Tantai Jin was extremely cruel during the mortal act in the two previous adaptations. He's like Naraku from…
When I first read the book, it felt that I am reading the alternative situation with Naraku and Kikyo as the main leads. Tantai Jin was a lot like him in the mortal act and Susu is like a combination of Kikyo & Kagome with her duties and personalities merged together. Like him, he spent most of the time rejecting his feelings towards her until it's too late. At least, Tantai Jin had the guts to chase her and keep her by his side when his obsessions for her grew.
Susu is what Kikyo would have been if she stayed with him to hold him back. Unlike her, she did fall for Tantai Jin despite of everything he had done. Although Susu had thawed his plans many times, she had no clue that he secretly admired her dedications to protect the common people and her rebellious spunks.
When she returned home, it's 500 years in the future, so TTJ supposed to be dead. I think she is trying her best…
In the live drama, Susu saw that Tantai Jin still loved her as he risked himself protecting her during the tower scene. She felt guilty for the misunderstanding after learning the truth.
In the OG formats, Tantai Jin continued his cruel games with her by playing favorite with Bingchang where he fell for her schemes that destroyed Susu last hope which lead her wanted to leave him. Unlike his counterpart, he spent most in the mortal act denying his feelings for her. It all came down to his decisions in the tower sequence where he was still playing games with Susu. Before she died as Xiwu, she thought he ran to the tower to rescue Bingchang after growing his love thread, not knowing it was her he wanted to rescue. After coming back, Susu was scarred by the ordeal including losing her best friend who was with her since birth. She resolved following the heartless path to forget them including her unwanted feelings for Tantai Jin.
I found it difficult to continue. I can't imagine how SuSu can still fall in love with him, given the amount of…
Yeah, Luo Tantai Jin got rid of the annoying traits I despised about his original version and he rightfully deserved what happened in the tower sequence and the aftermath.
I made a post in the board comparing his two versions. Plan to continue tomorrow for more details
So I wonโt compare the novel TTJ to this drama. And I just this drama TTJ as how he is. Novel story is a very…
In the mortal act of both previous adaptations, I would compare him to Inuyasha's despicable Naraku then the immortal act, like Blazblue anti hero, Ragna, due to their similar fate and tactics
TanTai Jin image shattered down after i read the novel , i'm a quarter way through the novel , the events are…
Yes, Tantai Jin was extremely cruel during the mortal act in the two previous adaptations. He's like Naraku from Inuyasha due to the evil bones influence preventing him from feeling anything other than bloodlust and hatred as they feed on tragedies and negative experiences. He was the main villain in the act. Xiao Lin is the only few good guys in the book but he was less insight than his c-drama version as he failed to see BingChang's true face and even considered letting Tantai Jin drown alone in the river without hesitation. Susu/Xiwu is like Kikyo and Kagome characters merged together as she became his foil to his plans with her rebellious schemes and attitudes that made her unpredictable to Tantai Jin and his subordinates.
I rewatch (again...hehe) and make me realised something. During the first watched I didn't catch on where TTJ's…
It is true that episode 9 was where his obsession for her grew but for me, it was when she came back after getting the supplies and reaffirmed her statement that she won't let him die. I still love when he finally slept on her shoulder as a sign that he felt safe for the 1st time.
Hard to believe this was the last of the c-dramas that received the episode extension. I watched all the adaptation and this was the most faithful of them all. This is the 1st the 2nd FL made her appearance on screen at the near end like in the book.
I think once calmed down from the angst and ugly crying, the ending is indeed not so bad after all. And with the…
He is like that too in the aftermath of the ending in the OGs when Susu threaten him that she'll be sleeping with A Mi the night after her birthday. He was so adorable mopping in the radio version.
I bet once the SE is out, he'll be the type who wants his daughter to get marry as soon as possible so he can have her mother all to himself. ๐คฃ
YBC always thought she was smart for some reason, but she always overestimated herself. Her arrogance made her…
She really think he'd succumbed the love thread and tried to manipulate him like all her admirers to gain more power. She is really a selfish dumb bimbo woman not noticing his cold reactions to her seductions or the blunt truth that she meant nothing compare to XiWu in his heart. That is why I always preferred him over his original character in the previous adaptations.
I donโt think she is pregnant yet that time. They just did it the night before their wedding day.
In the OG adaptations, lil A Mi was conceived during the love scene. Si Ying sensed that Susu was pregnant but kept it a secret before Tantai Jin forced Susu to the death door so she could be awakened as a goddess.
It took her a hundred years for her daughter to be born. Due to A Mi unique bloodline , her growth is slower that she remained a lil girl despite being over 500 years old. It looks pretty much the same in the drama cause A Mi is still a child despite her age
