wuxia has only a few series with harem ending (eg . duke of mount deer wai xiao bao ) although many girls like mc , mc choose one girl in the end . example heavenly sword and dragon saber . harem ending is more common with xian xia where wish fulfillment is max with no ntr or gore most of the case .

Xun er and Medusa are xiao yan 's wives . xiao yi xian , yun yun are some kind of border-line friendship-love relationship :D . But he only married to xun er and medusa ( he has one son with xun er and one daughter with medusa ) . but i am not sure they will let xiao yan and medusa married or change the plot . 70% they might change the plots since drama fans are not used to that kind of relationshps ( i.e mc has more than one wife ) while in many chinese novels it is not strange and normal ( 3 out of 5 novels have harem genre ) . some MC has 3 wives , 5 wives etc .

It is pretty normal in chinese web novels ( at least with two wives ) . also coming novel fight break sphere ( BTTH ) main lead has two wives ( female lead and medusa ) . by novel readers perspective , changing plots are disappointment , because we already root our perspectives and expect ing the same . that is why getting low ratings at the moment . changed the storyline . ( but i didn't make low rating personally :D ) but i can say they will follow only one female lead route for sure . they don't dare to follow novels ( feminists alert ) :D . so sail your ships freely ;)

Actually I hope they will follow the novel plot where he ends up with both ( has a daughter with Qing Zhu ) . but drama seems will not follow that route ( may be harem not allowed in drama these days - only in novels ) . disappointment for novel reader who like qing zhu . anyway it is ok though. both are good female leads
