Both of them are very considerate, positive and kindhearted. They are quite similar in a way, always supportive of others but sometimes doubtful about themselves I find.

I watched some videos and there was a short scene where both YGH & HHL do not look happy in front of their wardrobe and YGH questioning HHL and she has her usual stoned face.

My thoughts exactly, there is always a possibility with HHL.

Agreed, I could see his attraction towards right there. He must be thinking at least someone is caring for me. He have found him very vulnerable when he is with XM whereas when he is with HHL he always tries to put a good show for her. Maybe, he feels that he can be himself when he is with XM.

It looks like XCS & XM will have a happy married life. I can’t wait to see more of their life. I understand that YGH will be in the same industry and become his competitor. I’m sure HHL will try to reconnect with XCS and he will tell her to go away.

I also cried in episode 21, that is pure love from Xiaomei for XCS when she told him you are not a looser but a real hero, that he can walk again. She even bought the belt to hold his lower back and fought for him to have a spot in the rehabilitation centre. I’m glad that his sister and the physio at the rehabilitation centre told him to be nicer to Xiaomei. I’m not quite sure whether it is his pride for not wanting Xiaomei’s help or it is just his personality to be independent and his will to do things by himself and not rely on others. Whilst he is in the wheelchair, he still cares for his friends. He needs to realise that Xiaome is caring not only as a doctor but also out of love. Based on the preview, he realises the girl he has been looking for from the library is actually Xiaomei.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it will last this time.

Not necessarily, I think it is more about XCS’s life and the childhood friendship is one part of his life but not all his life. I think we will see more the development of his character during the rehabilitation period, his relationship with Xiaomei, his friends Tian Qi, Heizi, his career development. I understand from the spoilers he will work in the medical equipment and YHG will be his competitor after leaving the army which will drive the both of them even far away. It looks like HHL and YHG got together but not sure whether they are happy though.

Same I’m not ready to watch these thugs bullying XCS and Xiaomei. Boy, Xiaomei is tough like nails holding on to that box LOL. Hopefully, Tian Qi will come to rescue them.

Same here. I feel bad for Xiaomei for being so committed to XCS not just as a doctor but also in love of someone that she knows does not reciprocate to date and yet she is not even vicious or jealous of HHL. YF is so right about both her brother and HHL. It looks like YF remains friends with Xiaomei and Tian Qi & HeZei are loyal friends to XCS despite their bad start.

There is scene where XCS picked the book between Xiaomei’s books and remembered that he did leave the book for the girl he has yet to see her face in the old library and saw the bookmark. It would be interesting to know as I am getting sick of watching HHL and HGH tbh.

Very well said. I’ve cried my eyes out when HHY walked away after XCS begged her to wait for him. She is beyond belief and I’m shipping hard for Xiaomei to be together with XCS and hope he realises quickly that she has always been there for him.

The latest episodes are great. We have at last a deep and meaningful conversation between Xiaomey & XCS. There are so many details when Xiaome took XCS for a walk and ate noodles. The noodles stand owner gave them eggs and talked to them being a couple, when she told him about his dad always talking about XCS when his dad still had his memory together. These scenes are very meaningful and are a bit a teaser of what lies ahead for both of them. HHL is so negative & everything is black and white and my ways only. It was very cruel of her to just walked away after he asked her to wait for him whilst he is recovering. The girl lacks of human compassion. I am also frustrated to watch so much HHL and YHG scenes complaining about how they are not as good as XCS and how they can only be them to justify their actions.

I’ve cried my eyes out. We have a deep and meaningful conversation between Xiaomei & XCS at last, gosh this cannot come soon enough LOL. HHL & YHG deserve each other even though they kind of feel guilty for their own decisions but they are both selfish at the end of the day. It is very cruel of HHL to let go of her hands and walk away after XCS asked her to wait for him. I understand that she is scared of having to support someone physically and financially in addition to her mother but the girl lacks of human decency and compassion unfortunately. I think both HHL and YHG will never be satisfied with what they already but they want more even though it is at the expense of others.

I assume during the revolution time any aristocracy families are considered to be the bad capitalists, those that exploit the working class. XSC did reiterate to Amaon that time has changed and that he should not be ashamed of his family’s background. I completely understand how Amao feels.

Agreed, we all know from the start that HHL does not understand XSC and there are many things that she cannot relate to him. She has not only behaving that way with XSC but she has been using Tian Qi all along even though she does not have any feelings for him. What I do not understand is why does she get all the attention of all 3 men and Xiaomei who is a good person gets none of this why script writer?

Hey, good to see you here as well. I like the storyline of the drama so far. It is sad to see Xiaomei falling for XSC but he does not even feel it and she has to suppress this love by telling herself that they are only friends. She is subconsciously trying to reconnect with him through his dad and sister in his absences. I like her character, a good, positive, loyal and determined person. XSC and Xiaomei are quite similar in many ways.
