If they skipped the introduction (in the form of a flashback), you’d complain you’re confused, can’t follow the plot, or that it’s “boring.” So which one is it? Because at this point, it sounds like you just wanted something to complain about.
And you dare say the CGI is bad? Hello? This is a drama, not a Hollywood movie with an unlimited budget. For a series, the fire CGI — especially the scene on Ma Dong-seok’s hand — was clean, detailed, and natural. Even the floating sparks were done well. If you can’t see that, maybe the problem isn’t the CGI… maybe it’s your screen. Or your standards. Or both.
Be honest — did you really watch it? With full attention? Or were you scrolling your phone, glancing at other tabs, then pretending you’re some expert critic who “noticed everything”?
