I liked it, althou plot was a mess.

I couldn't stand her screaming. Gave up after 1 episode, story seems interesting, mc acting was ok, I might come back to this drama later.

Last episode felt really rushed, but that's not the weakest part of this drama(even with that out of ass kill). Too much plot twists is just too much, especially with that " I am undercover cop" phrase, at some point it turned into a comedy. Not impressed:<

This! I loved Mu Hyui's transformation in Six Flying Dragons, and I had so high expectation cause of this. I must say I was mesmerized by Ah Mo Gae, and how tragic his life was, how determined he was to reach his goal and protect his children, so good story! but then... somehow it turned into an immature fairly tale. sigh.

Ah yeah, I will give it a go, after I finish watching Stranger:> I enjoyed NIF partly because it is quite similar to The Grandmaster Strategist novel, sadly they don't translate it anymore:< Any other recommendations?

I rooted for Mo Yuan. I couldn't care less for a happy ending, cause often tearjerker story leaves stronger impression. For me Ye Hua was like an ancient version of stalker. He knew what Bai Qian liked, and how she behaved and he acted accordingly. He didn't even get justice for her, and she had to take her eyes back by herself. Just not cool. Second prince (that guy with a snake wifu!) had more balls than everyone else.

I just wonder why this drama is rated so high, it is okeish story just far from masterpiece, everyone claiming it is.

After Nirvana in Fire I had really high expectation for this drama. To my disappointment it is not story about Sin Yin and Mo Yuan, and poor shifu came back after 70k years for nothing. Sad. It is about guilt driven relationship, where main male character would do anything for Bai Qian, cause she was treated poorly as Su Su. I liked side story romance much more(GOGO Feng Jiu!!). I hoped for a bitter sweet ending too... oh I am such a fool, it would be perfect if Ye hua would turn into a lotus once again.

So yeah for me it was ok show, but far from perfect. Maybe chinese romance is not for me.
