I personally liked it tho. It did not feel rushed or anything.
It made no sense at all . They throw fast in the kid with a super power just to give watchers a happy ending. Did not matched the overall story and the circular ending of it. Also made no sense which version of GJ he brought back and if temporary or not , or how this is affecting the future.

I agree. Pretty much my suspicion too. But not that all 3 died. Du YI did returned so I think only wang shui and bian jie are burried in the grand mother tomb. There is sure some connection there between the plants and the tomb due to the dog they showed us
