And the ending in the novel is totally different from the drama. The drama ending is actually a transition plot in the novel. Yuwen Yue ended up alive and he will be together with Chu Qiao. She's even pregnant at the end of the story.

That's why i hope they will have a happy ending in this one 😭😭

I actually thinking the same, i've read several chapters of the webtoon, especially the first half of the story and i 100x prefer the plot from the drama. The flow and the pace is more perfect!!

People that don't like this drama probably are people that don't really like the pace of slice of life story. As long as you are okay and familiar with slice of life, i guarantee that you'll like this drama. Not to mention the relationship dynamic between our FL and ML. Completely healthy relationship there, it's so rare in this whole c-drama industry 🤣🤣

better to watch it after the story was completed, maybe that gloomy feeling will became better since you already know the ending
