We all hope for a big figure to back him up. Anyone have done so were muted or attacked by either crazy fans or hired marketing accounts. I do not hope for miracle anymore, to keep my sanity. All I can do is to support him. Whatever sentiment those extremists are trying to slap on him is just plain malicious. I do not believe the rational Chinese that you mentioned are among them. He can’t tell people in Japan not to vote for him. So be it. I still think the slandering campaign is at work, if there are double standards.

And if you tell me it is different for GJ and WYB, then we go back to the defamation and smearing issues. The black marketing forces succeeded this smearing campaign for sure. And it needs to be dealt with, not sweeping under the rugs. Yes, it maybe painful and long…but it seems Zhang Zhehan has made a decision and proceeded. As a fan, I support him.

I have read some article from that site and they were all about stoking the fire further, spreading rumors. The things that those articles brought up are not validated by any other sources. So, I stopped following that site.
Regarding that Japanese magazine and its ranking, Wang Yibo and Gong Jun were ranked in the top 10 too. And there was a weibo post or article (I do not have the link handy) about it, didn’t mention ZZH at all. In the beginning, we hear a lot of sentiments along the line of what you said. Now, I disagree. There were fans of him in China too, and they all in support of clearing his name, debunk those rumors about him and the shrine. The Chinese Ministry of Culture just advertised about traveling to Japan and go see the cherry blossom on the same route that Zhehan took. (Please refer to earlier posts.) Again, I do not think him being the favorite foreign actor in Japan is an issue. If it is, I have not seen GJ or WYB teams denying their rankings yet, more like embracing it.

Producer Li Xue Zheng has asked anyone with solid proof to come forward, and none has done so thus far. The fact that noone has formally gone forward with solid evidence is proof by itself…that all were fabricated to frame him, to cause public outcry against him.

There’s a recent post above about how it was impossible for Zhehan to go worship at that shrine. What the antis are doing is to spread rumors further and manipulate public opinion. Do not fall for it.
Will wait patiently for the day Zhehan gets to clear of all allegations.
Jellyfish (ZZH’s fans) have found a youtube video posted by a tourist who were recording the video at the cherry blossom site that Zhehan visited in 2018. The video was recorded at 4:40pm, has captured Zhehan walking by. (Minute 2:05 into the video)
There were Q&A and a lot of inquiries, in summary, the confirmation that jellyfishes got were: 1. The controversy shrine closes at 4:30, and Zhehan could not have made it to the shrine and out at the video place in time to be recorded in the video. 2. Chinese citizens are not allowed inside the worship area, and informal clothes are not allowed. 3. The tour that Zhehan was in organized by the c-ent industry companies. The friend that he mentioned who organize the trip is also im c-ent. He didn’t mention any of this, probably to protect them.
