Wow, talk about family drama...there was lots of it in this series. I think I hated almost every character from the Xie Family and for a good reason. The plot was interesting but the flow of stuff that was happening was confusing. I expected more scenes between the main female and male lead but there was almost none towards the end. Their official kissing scene was beautifully done, with the background music and Qing Yuan facial expressions. Even though I can't stand the father, I had deep hatred for the grandma as well because she made the whole mess from the start and didn't put a stop to the madness. I liked the flow of the last episode and how everything concluded, especially when they show the other sisters with their partners. I don't think Hu Xing got what he deserved; I wanted a better revenge on his end.

Can you tell me what made you like it on the first episode?

I enjoyed the first couple of episodes to this drama as it was thrilling with them being drawn to one another but also trying to create a distance. After a while, their relationship started to annoy me as they were two immature people in a relationship and couldn't find a common ground. Both of them had their own problems they needed to work on, but gosh sometimes I wanted to slap them through the TV for not communicating right. I got so sick of them at some point that I just waited for them to break up. With the ending, I could see a bit of improvement, but they still needed work. Although their relationship was flawed, I really enjoyed the last episode-especially the proposal scene. It was so beautiful and I felt Luan was making up for his mistakes. On the side note, the OST was heavenly and perfectly matches to the scenes. I loved Lumi's character and Zhi Tao's apartment friends. The episode when her friend died really tore me apart. It was heartbreaking listening to his story and honestly, I wanted more expansion on it. Overall, it was a good show with good pacing.

I still can't move on from this couple. No matter how many new historic c-dramas I watch, nothing compares to them and how they individually have so much charisma.

The plot was underwhelming and absurd at many times, although still interesting enough to continue watching. I liked the chemistry between the leads, but what kept me going in this drama was the comedy. The NIS team was so damn funny along with the high school scenes.

At first I didn't want to start this drama as the comments were mostly negative, but I still went ahead with it and I love it so far. Yes, the FL used the ML to help her grandma, but she also feels the sense of remorse because of it and truly cares for the ML. On the other hand, he is aware of being manipulated and yet he is still drawn to her like a glue and senses that there is more to her lies. I appreciate their moments in certain scenes, especially the last two, where they sort of confess their feelings without expressing it with words and how they always try to help one another. I am wondering now that the grandma passed away and she doesn't need the money for the transplant anymore, will he still leave and considering he is aware of her secret and okay with it, what will drive them apart. I cried so much on the last episode, I just want them to be happy.

I liked how you described that change in the writing, and I agree with you on it because I was really rooting for the female lead but in those last couple of episodes everything just seemed off. Some things were just not making any sense, and it was bothering me when she was doing whatever she felt like in the military by disobeying the orders. It seemed out of the character and annoying at times, so I hope it gets better in the future episodes

the plot does get more interesting as you more along the episodes because it's focused more on the war although the female character is mostly leading the scene. I think they will focus more on male lead in the later episodes

I postponed watching this after reading some comments before, but I don't know what I was waiting till now because it's so sweet and makes me giggle with each scene. The couple is so innocent, and the side characters are funny and interesting to watch. This is definitely recommended when you need a boost of serotonin but don't watch it if when hungry :)

This show really deserved more hype. I cried, laughed, screamed together with them and all of the characters were enjoyable. There were very few misunderstandings and the couple worked on them, both were mature, and their romantic scenes were perfect. The soundtrack was lovely and went perfect with the scenes and the show was comedic. I do however wish they showed us more of his progress in sports towards the ending of the series, but the ending was still satisfying.

I just loved everything about this drama. The couple was so innocent, and they had a very healthy relationship unlike in many other dramas where there are tons of misunderstandings. I thought that the female lead would annoy me but she was the sweetest and was always standing up for herself and others, so she proved me wrong very fast. The support characters were all very nice and I loved their stories and their friendship. Definitely will miss this drama!

I have also started it and I'm on episode 17 :D As you can tell, I love it. It also tells the story about side characters and I love that the female lead can stand up for herself while the male lead is so cute and shy.

I loved it but I do want to warn you, that the second half is kind of slow and painful to watch but it's worth it. Otherwise, I would watch When I Fly Toward You. I heard good things about it

Finally, a drama I am highly invested in after Lighter and Princess and I'm already having withdrawals symptoms while waiting on new episodes.

I watched it till the end but I feel the same way. His character changed when he got his eyesight and took over the company and I just wasn't feeling their relationship like before.

That's what I did too! I can't endure the pain of that finale so I will wait for happier episodes hopefully in December
