You are welcome. I usually don't like the usual Shoujo dramas but role reversal Japanese dramas are great like My Fair Prince and the 2003 version of You are My Pet. You can watch the Korean movie remake if you prefer that.

I think image issues will limit that and also censorship. I know Indian actors refused to play 'negative roles' since it can negatively impact their image and career.

The female villain always plays the mother in many dramas and does a great job.
Swordsman and Noble Aspirations come to mind.
Did Wei Shuyu die? I wanted him to have a love interest.
Redeemable male leads are aplenty but redeemable female villains are so hard to see.

I am not German. I have watched a lot of Jin Yong and wuxia stories. I had a Chinese roommate when I was in college in New York so I got interested in their culture.
It is not required to enjoy it.
