I am sure they have something good in store for us, even if the experience from the novel is going to be different it does not mean that it won't be as good.

It was kinda expected that they will remove the rape part since they changed a lot of things from the novel. However, as another user above said , the series has grown into its own unique thing and that is why I am still excited to see how the story will progress.
Reading the comments, I see many people disappointed because of the news that they will exclude the sexual assault from the VegasPete story. I was also disappointed to hear this but I think we should wait before jumping to conclusions. The series so far has been beyond our expectations and I am sure it will continue like that even if they tone down some parts.
