You know there is a very thin line between love and hate. And this drama is gonna be a case example of what that means.

Anywho...I'm really enjoying this like a lot actually. Love the balance of ghost, detective and love hijinks, it's actually working.

Yesterday I was envious of people watching this without reading the novel and today I feel a little sorry...huh
Cause how in the hell are you expected to make sense of this when its all haphazardly presented. Feels like a puzzle with so many missing pieces.

Exactly, they caught her son, the little fiend.

Not sure, but I remember that FL belongs to a clan that are the chosen ones, you can say. They have the ability to kill the fiend with a specific sword and their blood. Hence considered dangerous by LXR's group.

So basically, that fiend is LXR's son and they got separated in that battle. To fill in the gap:
LXR was living in a cave (long story, how she ended up there) with her son. This was the place she hid to hibernate and become human. Also, the cave she ran back to, when she lost her son. One day a bunch of minors inc. ML's father discovered her. In the beginning she was not fully formed however after drinking blood from ofc, pple she killed, she transformed into a beautiful woman. ML's dad got greedy and decided to use her for his own greed. Little did he know he was the one being manipulated. As you saw earlier, how LXR infiltrated his whole entire family etc.
Hope that makes sense.
Oh btw, LXR only drinks rare blood so there are specific people who fits into their criteria and one of the them is the adopted sister.

Oh I wish I could tell you more but where I'm at in the novel, the ML still hasn't found his sister and the chances of her being alive are looking pretty slim. The evil auntie pretty much dumped her somehwere not nice. So not sure if she survived. As f9r the adopted sis, the evil auntie took her in as a blood bank pretty much. Apparently she wanted her to marry that doc. and have kids so more like a breeder. Hence the reason she escaped.

Btw was ABO Desire that good? Cause I remember dropping it at some point cause I didn't understand the concept for lack of a better word.

This is why I can't have anything with someone who lies to me even once. Cause it will just drive me insane doubting everything you say. I really don't know how FX will come back to SL's good grace after all this....sigh

The adopted sister will finally escape and saved by FL's group. Not sure afterwards (haven't finished the novel hehe). But another spoiler, ML has a biological sister who was taken by the auntie so he is looking for her.

For people who haven't read the novel, you probably are enjoying this very much and I envy you. Whereas I am suffering from the comparison effect. I can't help but to compare the imagination of the story I read in the novel to this drama adaptation...sigh
Btw, if you have read the novel, is it me only that thinks they went OTT in setting up the scene of LXR and her group. I mean do we need to see LXR worship snakes, do these ritual etc for us to know she is evil.
I honestly love how they set it up in the novel or the way I understood it from the novel.
E.g. Imagine you(ML) are a rich heir to this company. You live with your auntie who dotes on you, shelter you and quite protective. You also have an adopted sister whom you get along with well. The auntie is not as nice to your sis compared to you but well, whatever. From an outsider you seem to have it all. Your house and everything is just normal like any rich kid. Even though your auntie seem like a mystery your curiousity never went beyond asking what's going on in your head until, one day you meet a men who tells you that everything you know about your life especially your bio parents' death is a lie. He gives you a diary which belonged to your biological mom. And from that day everything changes, you embark on a journey to seek for some answers.......etc
So this is how the novel set it up, I find it different to the drama for some reason. Maybe it's just me.....sigh

Hmmmm, don't know how I feel about this remake. Like I am soooo overprotective of Doctor X. Like noone can ever be like Dr Daimon Michiko so I'm torn about this news. Ofc I also love Kim Ji won so I'm really conflicted.
Tbh, I rarely watch remakes cause each time I try, somehow I get disappointed. So I wonder if that will be the case here or I will be pleasantly surprised instead, or I will avoid it. 🤔

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. I have had my fair share of dicky colleagues and I ended up finding a hideout so I would make a toilet excuse and go for 15-20mins to watch a little bit of my fav. drama series as an escape. I don't know exactly your situation but I hope it gets better and if there is anything you can do to change the situ, I hope you find the courage to take that step. Cheering you on from England...fighting 🤗
