This drama just probably isn't for you, most of the comments pretty much say the story is one of the strongest…
"You're probably more used to cdramas with really obvious bad guys that are just pure evil..." You assumption and that's Not True about me. Everything else you say, I understand. Thanks
Maybe you are just not understanding it, there are several villains in that story, i dont know yet if they have…
Maybe..π€ I keep thinking of the multilayered baddies in Pursuit of Jade that I had love and Hate with. Like someone said, maybe it will all come together in the end.
I'm watching this drama whilst questioning myself.on whether I should continue π€ Now I like Bai Lu and Cheng Lei and I actually like their characters. Aside from them, I'm struggling to like everyone else's character. And no it's not the actors fault but my issue is with the story. The so called villains lack nuance. And that forsaken prince plot is another one of those puppy eyes with one-sided love of our FL who will turn to be a horrible human being because he can't have her...blah blah blah. Really this same old trope in 2026π One character I want to like is the Empress Dowager but so far I'm scratching my head on how exactly this woman managed to usurp the throne π She doesn't seem to have that brilliant mind. As for the MY whatever his name is...he is just running around like a headless chicken. And you tell me he planned all that ish, killed many people and supposed to be the most evil...right Alas, the story is not giving. I really like that they show us the preview of next ep. cause soon I will need to skip some ep. At this point I will leave this one run and then after it finishes airing, I will catch up with it.
Honestly we can't blame them because WE thought he was a demon π. Even in the novel, it's just a metaphor.
Wouldn't that make it more fun if they added the supernatural element to it though... Just watched the trailer and I got the dark vibe to it and its good but imagine if they make him a demon= chefs kiss
Now that I am all caught up, I need previews. I found several clips with the adult leads and hope they have not…
Oh my...I'm blushing π βΊοΈ Yeah, I will not be surprised if they cut that but I so wish they don't cause boi I need some love and our little pumpkins deserve all the love β€οΈ Thank you for that link
A father who cares less about their daughter than they do about money is no Father to me π With this type of father, who needs the devil π Actually what type of prison was this father at cause he comes out as obnoxious as he went in...Are you telling me all that prison food did absolutely nothing to his brain π€―Yeah, some people are incorrigible...sigh
Why did they give that poor man the haircut of a 6 year old girl?!
Hmm, leave our 6 yr old princesses πΈ alone. This one is beyond them. The audacity it takes to wear this hairstyle is byond the clouds. Even heavens will shed tear seeing this abomination π
And who exactly takes Futami seriously with that Mushroom Hairstyle π π€¨ Futami acts like he is smoking something before work starts...he is just here to cause unnecessary chaos. I can already hear Zen eye rollπ saying "I'm too employed for this ish" Sometimes Ryo and Zen seem to be vibing and then other times there are not on the same wavelength. So far the common thing between them is insecurity but then I wonder, how exactly can they reassure eachother more than they are already doing π€
The jealousy subplot in episodes 10 and 11. The male lead's behavior was cringey and embarrassing When he interrupted…
For me, its the hitting of the invisible flies that got me cringing π¬ I'm like dude, if you really are that jealous...well go to school and wear your own uniform. He literally looked like some hobo from the streets ππ
Is someone going to check Li Lan Fang cause at this point she is the sole hindrance of her son's future π I mean with a mother like that, who needs the devil π Her naive gullible and stupidity is nolonger fun to watch and if she ain't cute, I would have major disliked her way earlier (actress is doing a great job). Let's be honest, XW's hustling will not get him anyway long-term without proper education. Maybe it's due to his age (I don't know) but he lacks a long-term future plan and this is where QY excels at. She knows what she wants in life and even though there were roadblocks but she is focused. I know we live in a society where xul is nolonger that necessary (I beg to differ but alas), however there so many ways to learn. With a brain like XW maybe an apprenticeship could be better where he works whilst he learn...if money is the biggest issue. Regardless, he would need to finish high school. Yeah, LLF...I seriously don't like you right now....If you want to fail at life, well do so and not drag your son into it....π
So I'm a late bloomer on this one...Somehow I finally thought of giving it a try and now on ep. 11, dare I say, it's so much fun. My personal favourite is the Prime minister/father. He is such a fun character to watch and even with those despicable acts, I still can't full hate him. The actor is so compelling that he gives this character a multidimensional arch. Also his voice is sooo soothing. He will literally feed you poison in a whisper. One thing though, so this princess was kidnapped, humiliated etc and noone is gossiping about her purity in thia town, this era π³ π€ π right.
Guys, gather up cause I need to aire my pent-up frustration π€ π Like this drama is raising my blood pressure....gosh π Okay, here is the thing, it is sooo easy to paint Lu Feng as the very bad guy in all this...after all he does is explicit. I mean let's name bad/questionable things he's done so far: 1) Going full throttle and forcing s** on Yi Chen when he returned whilst trying to get their relationship back. Yes, the way he went about it is not right (my opinion) 2) Suddenly outing little bro relationship in front of mom without consent. Call it an impulsive or desperate act...he shouldn't 3) Tying up YC on the hospital bed...lol dude is crazy π 4) Pushing little bro a little too hard which caused the accident Aaaaand π€π€π€ that's it. One thing you can never ever doubt...is his Love for Yi Chen, yeah someway obsession with YC. He loves YC sooo much that he fought his dad to his death, denounce his last name and sign off his inheritance..oh and before, he was pretty much kidnapped, beaten to a pulp, forced to engage some random gal inorder to return to YC....Aaaaalllll for Yi Chen. And what does he get in return...π I know love is not about keeping score etc. But really he suffered...And I feel for him. I would rather choose LF over YC because the former shows who he is always, good bad and ugly. I really didn't like YC in these recent eps. because to outsiders he appears to be the nice, fillial child who is having it tooo hard more than anyone else and is making the most difficult decision. I hate that. He was very selfish in this eps. when it comes to LF. And I was literally nodding when LF spoke about YC's priority list...LF is at the bottom. He thought of everyone else except LF and that's really messed up. You know what, this is the first time in my life I will not wish RIP on the dead parents. Those so called parents are the worst and should rot in hell for all I care. You know the irony is...didn't YC nearly run over that boy by accident...hmm, where is the police and handcuffs πmaybe he will understand what an accident means. So Bring on cold-shoulder Lu Feng...I love β€οΈ
Sorry Mom and Dad, Jealous Krit is going Rogue and I'm cheering... I mean whatever it takes to rebel, I'm here for it even if it takes a sex tape (trailer says) hey hoπ€·ββοΈ What I love about this drama is the balance in showing us the little imperfections of both Krit and Wayu. We all know how Krit is like but here I found Krit justifiable in that end scene. I mean Wayu, come on, Mind just confessed to you few sec ago and you rejected him. Instead of dismissing yourself, go home to your bf, you agree to remain friends (bad idea), go to Moonlit (aka workplace) drink, and ended up at that stage to Krit's jealous....I mean I would be too. Too friendly Wayu, too friendly...Btw, did Wayu really didn't know Mind has a thing for him, really or he was just oblivious π€ Actually Krit is strong cause I won't date a Magic Mike, Stripper, Escort, Prostitute, Actor....No freaking way cause I'm a jealous B**** π
Well for the most part...but the scene where they were having a serious emotional conversation (saying everything they feel out loud etc), the music in the background was just out of place and distracting. I really was trying to focus and be in the moment and yet all I could hear was tingly tingly tingly tingly...like ffs I screamed director, producer "Read the Room". We really didn't need music in that scene ....sigh
Aww, this drama just continue to give me all the warm and fuzzy feelings. Even their shexy scenes were cute (I know I shuld say hot and sexy but somehow cute befits hehe) Ryo is the clingy emotional sensitive bf whilst Zen is the tsundere soft in the inside one. Dare I say this is probably the first drama where I really give credit to the wardrobe...like these guys are rocking these suits and look sexy as hell. I've watched a fair share of Jdramas and if there is one thing I have not understood is the horrible wardrobe choices many. But here no, the suits look tailored and fits each character style and personality.... P.S. I thought this had 12 eps. π€π€was I dreamingπ€
I'm actually liking this one very much πBeautiful people, Beautiful scenery, those tea fields wow, gorgeous. It's just nice to turn off my brain cells once in a while. Oooh let me guess, the bigwig that Phrae mentioned with bodyguards and all, could that be Saithan's family since he looks like a pampered heir. If yes, then I have a theory: Could it be his family wants to be a partner and may eye Sila's business. However after finally finds out their son have finally grow up because of it, they decide not to....I have watched too much television π π π
moving was good but like looong for some reason .I liked that as well but this I liked more just because I am…
You know what, that could actually explains why I didn't gel with this one. I like comedy too but when it's mixed up with another genre I get turned off. I have noticed feeling the same way on comedy, myster/crime mesh genre...I completely zone out. So maybe why in this case, it was the same. Thanks for your comment.
