Oh and we just needed the baby to soften the oldies hearts and it worked like wonders. Now onto the next...sigh Guys, my eyes look like panda 🐼, due to sleep deprivation and yet, I'm onto the next. This much dedication should be studied. Anyway, what is going on with all these dramas pouring like rain. Gal can't catch a break. And now my mother thinks I'm a lady of the night since I'm always complaining of not sleeping....
Fake Fact Lips = Perfect This is one of those grounded and yet feel good dramas that I cant even see any fault, even if I try nitpicking. I mostly love that even if there was a little bit dramatisation at the workplace etc, the personalities of our leads are sooo realistic. Also love that they did not make either better than...nope. Each one have their own shortcomings and it's how it's presented that is so refreshing. Zen has like a tsundere vibe and his approach on love or person he loves can come off as lacking depth or unreal...ofc to those who don't know him or one closest to him. So it's nowonder Ryo was constantly checking whether Zen actually likes/loves him. To us viewers, it's clear but to Ryo at times it was not as clear. So I absolutely love Zen's progress in his self-awareness and how he show love and reassurance to the one he loves. You can totally see he is not comfortable with being lovey dovey with words. On another end, Ryo's emotions are like a book and he shows and says it. To us (well, me anyway) it's great but to Zen it's unfamiliar, to an extent where it might come off as overpowering. On top of it, he second-guess and overanalyse things which to a extent might put someone off. So I love that, once Zen addressed it, he took a step back and just let things be. In summary, I guess the message is, a relationship or partnership that last involve 2 different people with different personalities but are willing to adjust to eachother and grow together. And dare I say, these two's visuals match perfectly. They are both stunning 😍 and very compatible. Zen has one of the most beautiful nose...so random 😆 Special shout out for the Suits (wardrobe stylist 👏). I'm such a sucker for a man in a tailored suit and these men delivered 😍
Oh I saw a trailer for this one and I can remember the glee. The quality is good amd it seems there is more nuance plus the murder investigation adds more depth. Now, the little problem I have is, it feels choppy. Okay, hear me out. There is a sequence of events that left me scratching my head. 1) LC arrives into the office in the morning for the new job 2) He has a little exchange with a colleague (he is annoying) 3) Prosecutor arrives and and ask LC into his office 4) Again they have a high tension exchange, 5) some ahjuma arrives crying etc and it grabs everyone's attention 6) A few words and passiveness and ahjuma is escorted out 7) Colleague comes back 8) And work is done. All of this happens in like 1-2hours maybe 🤔 Like where can I get this job. It feels like a chunk of the story is missing. Another thing is, how can you make me like/understand the Prosecutor when you don't give me some backstory. Well, I kinda figure it out why through the summary but it's different. All I can see is some bitter betty with misplaced barking, I mean anger. Like dude 🙄 The part I actually like is when he is like "I hate you..." and yet his lips are on his. Like sir, do you know there is a thin line between love and hate right 😏
Okay, so I've just learned never to multi-task when watching this show. Story time: Whilst I pressed play on one hand, the other hand, I was calling my mother. And she so happen to answer whilst hearing oooohhh, aaaah aaaah yu know that first scene 😉. She like took a minute and said, "So you're calling me having s***, is it that bad or do you want me to hold the candle for you" I swear 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That ending scene left me Boiled 🤬🤬🤬Like Sun hun, with all those years of being a debt collector, what did you learn...come on use your rage and clear the room. I wanted to leap into this series and yank off that dangly thingy of that filthy man. Here is the thing, when people threaten you with people you care about, they think they got you, have power over you and you will back down. On the contrary for me that's even more the rage to explode on you. I feel for Sun actually, cause with all that past, he is literally innocent in this filthy world.
Excuse me, is this related to the tomb series by any chance cause I saw Han Dong's character is Zhang Qi Shan amd I'm pretty sure, we have a ZQS in Mystic Nine. So is it just name similarity or same universe?
Ep.1 and I gotta say this gal is the reason why Tinder Swindler stay in business. She is is literally living in her own world. Actually nothing wrong with her ideals but the problem is having those mixed with a wrong man or you are not explicit about it. ML's character is the one making me LOL 😆 😂 His relationship with his girlfriend? is pure comedy. His scenical reactions are just so hilarious. And it seems he actually is street smart when it comes to some of these women. Yeah, our FL needs him.
This drama just probably isn't for you, most of the comments pretty much say the story is one of the strongest…

Maybe..🤔 I keep thinking of the multilayered baddies in Pursuit of Jade that I had love and Hate with. Like someone said, maybe it will all come together in the end.
I'm watching this drama whilst questioning myself.on whether I should continue 🤔 Now I like Bai Lu and Cheng Lei and I actually like their characters. Aside from them, I'm struggling to like everyone else's character. And no it's not the actors fault but my issue is with the story. The so called villains lack nuance. And that forsaken prince plot is another one of those puppy eyes with one-sided love of our FL who will turn to be a horrible human being because he can't have her...blah blah blah. Really this same old trope in 2026🙄 One character I want to like is the Empress Dowager but so far I'm scratching my head on how exactly this woman managed to usurp the throne 😏 She doesn't seem to have that brilliant mind. As for the MY whatever his name is...he is just running around like a headless chicken. And you tell me he planned all that ish, killed many people and supposed to be the most evil...right Alas, the story is not giving. I really like that they show us the preview of next ep. cause soon I will need to skip some ep. At this point I will leave this one run and then after it finishes airing, I will catch up with it.
Honestly we can't blame them because WE thought he was a demon 😂. Even in the novel, it's just a metaphor.
