Thank god the ratings didnt end up higher than proper multi layered dramas (mix of comedy and serious storyline) like mr queen and crash course in romance otherwise it would be a travesty. Not only does the show has no storyline , a lot of parts are totally illogical , from the helicopter rescue, gu won becoming the ceo and now, changing the coffee machine. Why do you need a vip rooms if you are going to give those in standard rooms the same treatment with those in vip room?he should have just suggested that they abolish all vip rooms and charge purely based on room sizes alone. Wouldn't that make more sense? That would fit his constant "everyone is equal" mantra. Lol.how does someone so naive and with no business sense could end up becoming a ceo is beyond me. Sad to see scriptwriters get away just because the directors happen to cast 2 popular actors and disregard everything. Its a spit in the face of actual hardworking scriptwriter who come up with new, fresh and exciting scripts. This is where i think the difference lies between chinese and japanese dramas v korean dramas. In most chinese and japanese dramas, just casting popular stars doesn't necessarily guarantee you decent ratings. The ratings will drop if the story is shit even if the actors are super popular . It's the complete opposite in kdramas. This drama and doctor cha is the perfect example. Sad indeed.

15 minutes in episode 4and im already annoyed by some stupid writing . So they are fighting the most powerful evil and so mun expressly told the chairman to leave but guess what ? He decides to go back despite the fact that he is seriously injured and screw everything up. Like for real? I liked the first season and i thought fhe first 3 episodes were pretty good but that writing in episode 4 is just beyond dumb.

All these "oh i left because i wanted to protect you" trope is seriously overdone. I can understand if they are super poor and the mum has to give up her child to be adopted by a rich couple. That's unfortunately very much the norm nowdays. However if you are from some super rich family like guwon, give me a break. Funny thing is suddenly the mum is all so powerful and brave "if you harm him, i wont sit back" yada yada yada. Make it make sense please.

Lol funniest part is when people started talking about how season 1 has character developments etc etc compared to season 1 when season 2 is only 2 episodes in. So basically these people expect the show to tell everything in 2 hours and even if that's done, they will then complain that the story is rushed etc etc. Lol funny people.

My first time watching kim so hyun ever since goblin and the last princess. So far the show seems fun. Not sure why people are always nitpicking over a fantasy show.

If you have half a brain, kid, you would have realised that wikipedia literally has the links to the official Korean source where the ratings are obtained. It's such a simple thing , just a click and you would have found the answer. Instead you are here acting like a spoiled bitch expecting others to spoon feed you info and then getting your panties in the knot when people refuse to do so. Funniest thing is that even wikipedia and asianwiki have the same exact ratings and yet you claim they are different. Not to mention the drop can be seen there as well and they are exactly the same with the official korean ratings yet you claim the ratings are increasing. Pathetic liar.

Are you for real? You can literally Google the ratings. Episode 14's ratings is even lower than episode 10. Real funny question you have there.

King the land? Isnt that the infamous romance drama with 2 purportedly popular leads which actually has its ratings drop halfway through the drama and still dropping 2 episodes towards the end ? It has been a very very long time since ive seen a drama having its ratings drop so drastically in the 2nd half, perhaps due to its corny and illogical storyline and non stop kissing scenes (who even makes this kind of shows anymore?). It's the typical "throw 2 stars and hope the show will magically succeed" type of drama. Sad case indeed.

Funny how the writer constantly create new exciting scenarios only to totally forgot about it or hastily wrapping it up in like 10 minutes. 1) gu won's best fried aka assistant turning coat only to see him totally disappear the next episode 2) titanic battle between bro and sis for the company only for the father to hand him the company because he magically entered into multiple contracts despite never showing him doing anything than following sarang around 3) finally deciding to actively look for his long lost mother only for him to decide to give up the search for god knows what reason. 4) love rival for sarang who happens to be someone very influential who is able to help gu won fight for the ownership of the hotel only for it to amount to totally nothing after half an episode. Weird AF.

His wife i.e gu won's mother named the hotel. So before he inherited it, it was a nameless hotel? Which episode was it that they mentioned he inherited the hotel ?

Can someone tell me how old is gu won's father again? He must be the fittest person on earth in history for someone aged more than a 100 years old.

Dont even compare secretary kim with this show. At least secretary kim has a good and logical story flow.

Great 1st episode! Man with so many good dramas coming up (behind your touch, moving, destined with you), we are really gonna be spoilt for choice.

At least it won't be another plotless kissing show like King The Land.

Well, at least uncanny counter 2 will air soon together with moving and behind your touch so there are plenty of dramas with ACTUAL good actors coming up.
