No worries. This show is definitely gonna win a baeksang daseang or best drama. All you need to win a baeksang nowadays is to make a 16 episodes softcore porn or 16 episodes of kissing and it will certainly win a baeksang. After all there's lee junho so it should automatically win a daesang in baeksang. Probably doesn't even need to be nominated . They can just give a daesang to junho for just appearing in the drama LoL.

I enjoyed it alot too. I just find the ending weird cause all the bad guys just got away scot-free. The acting is definitely top-notch.

Some people think that in romcoms, the leads doesnt need to work and we just need to have 16 episodes of non stop kissing and there you have it, a successful drama LoL. The moment someone brings up the fact that ML does almost close to nothing other than stalking and kissing the FL 24/7, they claim its all cutesy, romantic and what a romcom should be. Like WTF. If you wanna watch kissing scenes 24/7, just watch porn instead. Who the hecks watch a show just to see the leads make out 24/7 without any decent storyline. This isnt even an erotic thriller show like basic instinct. At least basic instinct actually HAS a plot. Lol

Nobody's pretending about anything. Everyone has different taste. Some may feel this drama is great while some may feel it's shit. It's not for you to decide how others view this show. The problem with calling a spade as a spade is that King The Land fans come here and condemn this drama every week and then act like King The Land is the best rom com ever made in Korea when it's literally as bad, if not worst than this show. I don't think this is a great show, but neither is KTL if this is crap, so is KTL. Heck at least this has a plot, confusing or not. KTL literally has no plot and its literally a kissing commercial. Nobody stops anyone from criticising this drama . Go ahead. But to act like this is shit while King The Land is the best romcom ever made is the stupidest thing ever. Dont even get me started at the acting in KTL. People act like junho is the greatest actor in South Korea whilst Ahn bo Hyun cant act when junho is totally shit in KTL. Junho literally has the same serious expression 24/7 in KTL even though its supposed to be a romcom and people claim he can act whilst ahn bo hyun cant ? LOL. Thats some stupid shit there.

I watch tons of dramas and movies . That doesnt mean i need to come to mdl and rate each and every one of them. LoL. Mdl isnt a bible . It isn't even a credible review site. It's literally a gossip forum. Nobody really cares about MDL's ratings. That's why you have some really good dramas getting super low ratings while some crappy ones like KTL getting high ratings. Okok theres an amazing storyline and it's funny as hell too. Gu won's father is the founder of king's hotel (this is confirmed from ep. 11 when he was shown to be discussing the name of the hotel with gu won's mother). The hotel just celebrated it's 100 years old anniversary. So that means gu won's father must be at least 113 plus plus years old, assuming that he's a great genius who founded the hotel at the age of 13 and married at about the same age. Man the guy must be the fittest man on earth since he walks and talks like a 50-60 year old LoL. So if gu won is about 20++ to 30 year old, fhat means the old man had gu won when he was 80. I wonder how old is gu won's mother? They might be the oldest living couple in history since they were married for 100 years ++. Wow pretty amazing lol.

Want me to be honest ? Yeah this drama is trash. It has no storyline other than kissing scenes. You can say whatever you want about me but south korea's ratings says it all. You want to paint me as a hater but I wonder if you have even watched a year end's medley? As a self-proclaimed fan of the actor/actress, surely you must have watched their previous works right ? Heck i enjoyed Exit and confidential assignment movies too. I actually thought yoona was good there. In fact I actually watched confidential assignment because i wanted to see her character rather than hyun bin's. Have you watched those movies? Since you are such a big fan, right ? Dont tell me despite calling me a hater, you haven't actually watched her previous actings? Lol. I may not be her biggest fan and i do think she isnt as good as the hype surrounding her but she's still decent LOL. Thats doesn't excuse a scriptless and story-less show like this though lol.

The fact that I'm giving other shows 10/10, even those without *popular singers" like yoona should tell you the quality of this show. It's not just me. The ratings for the past few episode has been subpar. Episode 12's rating in SK is 10.9 which is even lesser than episode 6. Heck she's much better in the movie a year-end's medley than here. That was a comedy too but at least her role had some substance there. Funny thing is she also played a hotel worker and despite it being a movie and her limited screen time , her character was fun. I don't even know what's her role here other than as a love interest of gu won. They showed that gu won's sister promoted hef early on because she has some hidden talent but now shes nothing more gu won's girlfriend and a tool for his sister to use against her. Talk about backward character developments.

The theme of the whole story , be it the source of this drama is literally reincarnation and its effects as well as see ha's trauma. Everything else is a byproduct and secondary..the main theme was definitely not changed. The change in ending is expected. No live action will have a 100% similar ending with it's source simply because it will not be able to attract viewers. There are plenty of people out there who wont bothwe spending 12 hours to rewatch a story that ends exactly the way they have already known. Again, japanese live actions are a living proof od it.

It's good that people are starting to realise that casting popular singers doesnt automatically mean that they can act and having popular singers as actors doesnt guarantee success in a drama. The last dramas that had 3 points drop in ratings were dr. Cha and reborn rich, both which had really crappy scripts. Anyway at least in dr cha and reborn rich, despite the crappy scripts, we had some awesome acting from the likes of lee sung min, uhm jung hwa and kim bung chul. Hard to say the same here though.

You know, I gotta point something out about these crazy KTL fans. These people literally cried and begged for the MDL mods to delete all the comments from Arabs blasting the show and even begged the mods to remove the 1.0 ratings from the KTL page and yet now, they are here ranting about freedom of speech, freedom to criticise, freedom to write nonsense etc etc. Man do these people even look in the mirror when they type? How dumb can one be? They kept insulting Muslims and Arabs in their comments and then they talk about freedom of speech when they get called out. Crazy people are crazy LOL.

First of all, just because it's a lifr action adaptation doesn't mean it has to be
100% similar to it's source. As long as the author is fine with you, it's not even an issue. Secondly , there has not been a single popular life action adaptation that has 100% similarity to it's source ,chief reason being time constraints. Japan are considered the masters of live action adaptations , with wildly successful films like ruroini kenshin, death note , my happg marriage , let me eat your pancreas etc etc and non of them are 100% similar to their sources . Most of them have major changes. Yet most viewere, be it japanese or worldwide does not have any issues with it. The only exception is probably when they change the race of the main lead, like ghost in the shell. Otherwise nobody even bothers about the differences. Seems to me only some so called fans of the novel/source in mdl are the ones making a big hue and cry over the changes.

How would a story-less drama adds to his range? The trios i mentioned are much more accomplished and have an extremely wide acting range and yet non of them degraded themselves by taking such silly scripts to "improve themselves" and they are still doing great. Not to mention junho is like 33? Hes not exactly "young" like when he's in his 20s where he can take silly scripts and get away with it. Oh well. Sad case.

There is no plot.this must be the first romantic comedy I've watched that has literally no plot and totally unbelievable storyline. You mean a hotel top brass decides to abuse his power and bring his favourite employees to an all expense paid holiday using the company's money on work-days and no one bats even an eyelid to it? Not to mention sa-rang's coworkers gets pacified simply from receiving a gift bag despite being sidelined from obvious nepotism? Wow. This should have been a weekly comedy skit like SNL Korea instead of a drama. Not sure what they are trying to achieve. I wonder why a baeksang winner like junho would even bother taking up such a crappy script. It's too baffling. It's like he's trying to improve his popularity instead of improving his acting skills. You will never see hyun bin, song kang ho or choi min sik in this kind of plotless shows.

No idea too. They are not even the same genre nor are they airing in the same timeslot. Heck this isnt even a dedicated korea drama fansite so i seriously have no idea. I guess you just can't explain crazy ppls behaviour .

It's not actually hated by a lot of people. It's actually the same bunch of haters posting the same stuffs over and over them. In fact most of them are King the Land fans. I mean , considering how brainless and plotless King the Land is, you can pretty much guess the type of fans they attract and the type of comments they post.
