To be honest, I was more underwhelmed by the main villain being the evil politician guy cuz he just seemed like a huge joke to me. It didn't feel like he was a powerful judge guy. If one of the students /did/ turn out to be the killer, it would've been a bit underwhelming because most of us were suspecting the students anyway. For me, I thought Ji Ho was hella sus.

When Ji Ho went into the room while Professor Seo was all drugged up, Professor Seo was hallucinating and thought Ji Ho was Joon Hwi. That was when he revealed that Joon Hwi was not his nephew, but his son. I think this was supposed to be a secret and I can understand your frustration about this never being explored. It could explain why his aunt resents him so much.

I'm not sure why Kang Dan's mother resents her but I assume it's because Kang Dan left with her father or step father to the US and never contacted them afterward. There's also the fact that Kang Sol (A)/Kang Dan's mother suffered from domestic abuse. And don't forget the settlement between that evil politician dude and Kang Dan's father or step father.

It does say "to be continued," so I assume there will be a season 2. I'm pretty sure the person in black with a burnt hand is Su Fu, so no doubt there is a possibility of Ran Yan finding an antidote for him. My only question is how Ran Yan would be capable of pulling a Legend of Yunxi when her specialty is supposed to be dead people.

Romance is a big part of this story. I believe the "wuxia" part is included because the characters are all immortals. There is are fight/battle scenes sprinkled into the drama as well as an epic battle scene with magic and swords towards the end if that's what you're asking.

There's an implied good ending for WY and HJ. It's not like WY is suddenly going to fall in love with HY, but it seems like he appreciates her and their relationship will likely grow even closer. KS is a pretty minor character, so it's not like the drama has enough time to focus on giving him a good ending.

Honestly, I thought the teacher was suspicious from the very beginning but it was definitely random for her "sexual impulses" to just suddenly pop out towards the ending. Since the beginning, she was just genuinely a nice person. The whole thing with the sister going missing and then actually being kidnapped and drugged just made no sense. The ending was a huge letdown after all that buildup, ugh.

It's honestly not. I'm convinced that the director added it just because. Like the romance was just unnecessary and it felt like the girls needed to be in the show how "masculine" the boys are. The whole "saving a damsel in distress" kind of thing.
