Keep Hollywood out of Korea

I have a feeling this was created to cater to both Netflix and an American audience the reason kdramas are so good is, because they lean into family and friendship no matter how bad things get. Korean drama characters also fight and never give up. Spoiler part=This seemed to go off the rails as a father was willing to kill his son,all the MC just give up and just accept their fates. I would have been fine with a sad ending but no ending(us spinoff) and gold cards? seriously? Give me a break...the fact the main antagonist just walks away and the brother stops his search..what??

AI revolution?

I really enjoyed this program, but you really have to leave your imagination at the door. Asimov this is NOT, but instead it seemed more of a propaganda piece from our future AI overlords. AI, robotics, autonomous industry and deep learning companies must be paying for stories like this, because it will tick every box in order to get humans on board with this in your homes.

That all being said suspend that belief and accept the technothriller base and it is a rather enjoyable series. 🤖

Obviously

I'm really happy with this series. The story and Conclusion were 100% obvious, but the acting and chemistry kept me coming back. I almost skipped this because western programming has ruined LGBT love stories by shoehorning unfinished storyline into everything. This on the other hand led you through a NORMAL developing relationship without the fanfare.
The con: the re-watchability is really non existent. Kept watching it for the FEELS and just don't think I could get that by rewashing this series.

Ready Action

One of the MAIN twists of this series will be quite predictable, but how they end up there will not be. great acting as the main characters are played flawlessly. Supporting roles also were used in such a way that they became main parts of the story. My only critism lies with repetitive music. The song choices were fantastic, and even added a couple to my Shazam(music ident app) list, but when you are binging this series you will notice they reused a small handful of great songs instead of showcasing more talent.

What happens when you bring a knife to a gun fight?

This series brings almost a dystopian look at would happen when guns are introduced into a "disturbed" or criminal population, but the rest sane/law abiding don't have the ability to protect themselves. We see this in the states almost every mass shooting takes place in gun free zones by disturbed individuals or in a criminal activity event. Shootings that take place where people conceal carry the shooters are almost instantly neutralized preventing loss of life. mutually assured destruction works, but this series shows that it HAS TO BE done responsibly
