I can't get a random thing from ep 1 off on my mind so I am going to ramble about it here eventhough it is probably…
Its just my speculation at this point but my guess is they are monitoring the results. They probably don't notice pure omegas being taken for 2 reasons 1 they mailed the results so it's not like they needed direct contact with the person ever again after they draw the blood and/or 2 since pure omegas are supposed to be extremely rare it could be something like years if not decades apart between them testing and actually having a positive pure omega result.
ok it’s really starting to bug me, why is phatsa so clueless?!? 😭😭😭I hope they explain it later
Based on the book they are simultaneously coming out with the series as well as the pilot (which gives a few more details) those who have ABO characteristics tend to stay in their own circles and not really mingle with the general pure human population. So if someone with ABO characteristics was born into a family that distanced themselves from the "elite" ABO society and for whatever reason their parents never told them about it they would not nessacaraly know about any of it or was somehow separated from their ABO family as a young child they wouldn't know as well. (Which is what we can assume is going on with Phatsa and why he doesn't really know anything about it).
Unfortunately right now it's one of the things that hasn't been communicated well in the series but perhaps it will be explained better later on in a later episode.
Why is Phatsa clueless about the ABO in the world, I mean he grew up in that world…even if he didn’t know…

Unfortunately its one of the things that hasn't been communicated well at the moment in the actual series. Especially when they have him going to get tested because it makes it seem like every hospital/clinic does this but for all we know its a special ABO medical facility that he was directed to ny Ongsa.
I am still new to omega thing. Can someone explain to me. I thought biting the neck is consider being bonded to…
something to keep in mind with omegaverse is that its a fantasy world and each one is unique depending on how the author creates it. So what might be true for one story could work differently in another. The key commonality being ABO secondary genders with omegas being able to get pregnant and usually that alphas and omegas have ruts and heats. You could kind of compare it to a magic fantasy world where depending on the author how the magic of that world works differently some use wands, some spells, others don't have to use any incantations at all. Each world is unique in how it specifically works.
So as to your question about their bond being complete or not in some omegaverse sometimes just a bite from an alpha will form a complete bond sometimes they need to bite eachother sometimes just biting is not enough sometimes a bond will only be formed when bitten during sex or even only when in heat.
In this particular case it seems to me like the bond is complete however a newly bonded pair need an adjustment period of them being close and near eachother with access to eachothers pheromones to help settle the bond before they can stand to be apart for longer periods of time otherwise if separated shortly after the bite they basically go through withdrawal.
brace yourself for some of the worst subtitling you've ever witnessed. it's so bad i am thinking about waiting…
Theirs official episodes on YouTube with MUCH better subs the only thing is that they will be cut, that being said for episode 1 it was only about 1-2 minutes cut and none of it had dialog or anything important in it plot wise.
What is with the terrible subs for this on iQIYI? It's almost unwatchable. Any other place to watch with subtitles…
Youtube has it they are a lot better but it is cut. That being said for episode 1 at least its just 1-2 min cut and none of it was dialog or anything particularly important plot wise
Girl! GIRL!!!! you're missing a gem by not watching ABO Desire. Compared to this that is like on another level…
If anything I'd say watch it and if you don't care for the EnigmaAlpha couple but do like the AlphaOmega one fast forward through the EnigmaAlpha scenes. Because seriously i really did love the AlphaOmega couple and the fic for them is 🔥
I have learned that a good rule of thumb when it comes to bl dramas is to give them at least 4 episodes to make…
Especially when you look at how quickly some of theses dramas are filmed the actors dont always have a lot of time to get to know the characters before they start filming.
Also particularly with something thats a fantasy (omegaverse is fantasy not just fiction) its a whole world that operates differently than our own and the creators need to be given time to explain to the audience how it works. Just think of any story that has something magic or witches each story is different depending on the author some use incantations some use wands some need ruins and each different story needs time forbthe audience to learn just how that particular magic system works in that particular story. And the same is true for Omegaverse...i think the particularly challenging thing for any Omegaverse right now though is that its still VERY neich most people have never head of it whereas just about everyone has at least head of magic. This means these first several omegaverse dramas needs to not just introduce this specific type of omegaverse but what it even is as a whole to someone who's potentially never heard of it. Whereas with something like magic most views will have the understanding that this is a fantasy and they need to give it time to develop the world. Its harder for omegaverse to do that since they tend to be set in "modern" worlds but theirs no history of other omegaverse media thats in the collective minds of the general population (its still very much mostly existing only online and in fandom heavy spaces) thats definitely changeing with things like ABO Desire and now Knot but thats still relatively small. So its a challenging balance the production has to not just tell the story thry want to tell but also develop the fantacy world its set in.
I will say their are definitely some things they could do better (I'm currently also reading the book as its being released and based on that) ABO as a whole is supposed to be very secret society kind of stuff which would potentially explain Phatsas lack of knowledge BUT if thats the case then how did he know where to go to get tested was it an ABO specific hospital Ongsa told him to go to? It seems like Phatsa had some sort of mini first heat in episode 1 what triggered it because he clearly had a full blown one in episode 2? Those small details help build the world and they seem to be leaving some of them out right now which is causing some confusion and frustration among viewers. So I do understand why some viewers are getting disappointed.
But like i said in my first comment I've learned to give bl dramas at least 4 episodes before making any firm decisions/opinions about it to give it time to find its stride. Especially with a production company thats still relatively small and doesn't have as much money as say DMD or GMMTV
So, yeah, this episode was a bit much, but after seeing the preview for the next episode, I am very much looking…
I have learned that a good rule of thumb when it comes to bl dramas is to give them at least 4 episodes to make a decision because sometimes they just need some time to set up stuff and then they end up haveing an amazing rest of the story.
Girl! GIRL!!!! you're missing a gem by not watching ABO Desire. Compared to this that is like on another level…
While the overall production of ABO Desire definitely seems higher compared to Knot right now based on what you've said I'm not sure you'll like it. Like you I too am like what's the point in omegavers without the omega. In fact ABO Desire was literally the first time I had head of the concept of an Enigma in omegavers...(since then I have decided Im not the biggest fan of the concept but thats just me). The focus is like 90% on the EnigmaAlpha couple and the AlphaOmega couple gets less and less as the storyline goes on and their ending was so unsatisfactory they got something like 5 minutes total the entire last episode and I did not care for the EnigmaAlpha couple all that much just because of how manipulative that whole relationship was....that being said I did love the AlphaOmega couple even if their ending and screen time left much to be desired. On the bright side their has been some AMAZING fanfic that's come out of ABO Desire for the AlphaOmega couple to help makeup for what we got in the actual series.
I hope the 2nd episode has much better subtitles. I watched maybe half of the first episode and eventually gave…
I've watched both and yes YouTube is cut although for episode 1 not much was cut maybe 1-2 minutes total and their was no dialog or anything particularly major happening in those parts. And yes the subs on YouTube are 100% better. Hopefully, going forward IQIYI can maybe update episode 1 and do better on future episodes.
How did he not know about the secondary gender thing? They were explaining it to him like he wasn't from the same…

Surely, there may have been other duos approached and auditioned. But, the investors and sponsors are cutting…
You're completely missing the point of my posts. Its about the curiosity of what those initial conversations would look like. While Boat and Oat might feel pressure to have to take on any role offed to then they in fact don't actually have to do anything they truly dont want to do as they are their own autonomous people and for some something like ABO/mpreg it is just a line some actors would not cross. Clearly Boat and Oat are ok with it as they accepted the role in the end but that doesn't mean when initially approached they were guaranteed to say yes so how the management/company decided to start the conversation with them I think would be interesting to know. Because when telling someone who has never heard about about ABO/mpreg for the first time you can get some very different reactions.
Based on the book they are simultaneously coming out with the series as well as the pilot (which gives a few more…
Something to keep in mind with ABO is that each universe/story is different depending on the author. So not everything is the same in each one. Some ABO universe have nesting as a thing some don't some have enigmas some don't some have classification lvls of alphas and omegas like S-class and in this particular one they have pure omegas and true alphas instead some dont have that at all. So for all we know alphas and omegas don't start being able to smell pheromones until after their first heat which he just had. And we haven't seen Nakhuns entire life so for all we know he has had a rut before. It's literally just been one episode and they are still building a whole world for us to discover. Try and think of it like any other story with a fantasy world sometimes it can take a few chapters to fully understand the details of how the world works...now if by the end of the series none of the things we have questions about get explanations then yeah I'd definitely have a list of things they could've done better.
Based on the book they are simultaneously coming out with the series as well as the pilot (which gives a few more…
Again based on the book which they are currently releasing chapter by chapter ABO society is not something the world at large knows about. Its something that only those born into it know about. Like a secret society kind of thing. That being said how it's presented isn't the most well thought out/explained especially in the show. Based on the books explanation I don't question Phatsa lack of knowledge but more things like if its supposed to be a secret society why is their seemingly a hospital he can go to to get a secondary gender test done or was that a special ABO hospital he was directed to by Ongsa? Because that's the kind of inconsistency that leads to confusion.
Surely, there may have been other duos approached and auditioned. But, the investors and sponsors are cutting…
Yeah I figure they were probably approached rather than having to audition which is why I said "did the studio approach them with the project" my curiosity is in how were Boat and Oat approached with the topic of it being an ABO series and all the details that potentially entailed. As a LOT of other actors would've likely been "no ABO/mpreg that's not for me" what did that/those initial conversations look like?
How tf did he get to that adult age and never heard of alpha/omega terms. I know it was their way of explaining…
