People who read the manga, does this have a happy ending?

The acting was good, it's cute. However the story didn't work as good because it was way to short for the kind of build up they seemed to want to do. So all the in-between pieces are kind of missing. Story seemed really like a a story for a longer series not movie length. Still really enjoyed this one and would recommend it.

In 5 enough I really liked all the females next to the main and the main was interesting too.

This one has many things not perfect, Mulan is more of an Ideal than a character in this, however the last few scence are epic, exspecially ending was awsome.

Ins sister propably had a big age gab and could have died early because illness. If the nice was about 8, then wie could have Dean 10 years later at 18. They said she had Dean in College. Plus 21 years that would be 31 years later. It barely works out with the ages. Still the siblings so close in age to Dean make little scence, as they said Dean was raised by the grandma due go his mother being still in college. So Alin would now be around 40. You can at one point see a tv ans stereo in tue backflashes and they did look like 80s or 90s. Not 70s though.

Maybe the timeline was better explained in the Book?
