My heart dropped when I saw the scene w the brother. THIS, this is why I was irritated at people berating Dongman's character after two eps.
You never know what another person is going through.
People are focusing on how he is mean to his friends, when they were the first ones to leave him once they debuted. And somehow still bitch about him, rather than be there for him.
This is just the beginning of the series. Have some patience. His side might be revealed soon. Maybe he will have a character arc, maybe not. But this jseries ust feels so utterly human, I love it.
I can also understand why it won't be everyone's cup of tea.
It's a bit of a difficult watch for me, as I don't understand why he doesn't just distance himself from that group.…
I agree. It's toxic for both of them. But that's where the loneliness part comes in, at least imo. All he has is this "version" of a group, because adult friendships are hard in real life as well.
Also when one of the writer's movies failed he was also sympathetic. He can be better, not excusing everything he is doing - but I think that's the story. Of how he will find confidence in himself.
I feel like people who find the ML annoying, do not understand how utterly lonely life can be, and sometimes all you are able to do is be so impossibly human that you lash out.
People are ignoring how the other people in the group, even though they are all successful, somehow still find it in themselves to badmouth him CONSTANTLY. Its what the wife said - they would react the same if not worse if they were him.
I love complex characters that feel human. Loneliness, anxiety, envy, jealousy - these are all human's basest emotions. I know it will get better, and that he will get better w his character arc.
Wow! Just wow. What story. I feel I'm back to watching Liberation Notes. Obviously a very different drama, but just the amount of feelings just two eps brought in me - is what's striking to me.
At this point i do not mind a spoiler. Can someone please explain what s up w Keifer in the last ep, the last scene? I keep hearing book3 will explain his pov, but at this point I'd like to know if he gets better (becaue so far i am like wtf)
Jay -Jay doesn't have any self respect in this season.
exactly! i actually watched first season for her because she was strong and stood for right this season she doesn't even say anything to keifer when ge grabber he
how is jay jay not mad at keifer is beyond me!!! i liked s1, there was drama and cringe, but jay jay was a very likeable character, this season i miss her being a strong character
