At my school it depended on the class type- if it was a Set it meant that the people within the group had similar results in exams/coursework for that subject- if it was a Form one then it was mixed ability...Religious Education for example was Form Class while Science were Sets.I was usually in the Higher Sets so not too many troublemakers but I remember RE being hell as a form class- people were just so racist and mean...I didn't spend a lot of time in school due to being ill as a teen but when I was there it was either a nice group of people or not...History was a Form class but the teacher was good so people behaved...whereas my maths teacher was a pushover and that was a Set class...

Lol! Sometimes I think that teachers need to be from yakuza families with the stuff kids get away with at school nowadays.

The boys are amusing but the girls wooden and boring imo...I watched 3 first actually...the basic background is that Yankumi (Yamaguchi Kumiko) is the grand-daughter of a yakaza boss but decided to go into teaching. In the first two seasons she is given the class 3-D which is compromised of the students everyone else deems hopeless and deadbeats and manages to get them all to successfully graduate and learn to trust in adults and such. however, she is naive at times and very enthusiastic and horrible at keeping her background secret...

I admit I do like a good sad story- tokusatsu is more of a nostalgia think as one of the few memories I have of my mother is her saying she was the pink power ranger... and I have a friend who is also into Kamen Rider- so we can wig out over things.
For family/friendship dramas try Himitsu no Hanazono- while there is romance its not overly prominent- it just feels like she is joining the family...and Tumbling which is amazing!

I don't particularly have a favourite- I do like shows such as Kamen Rider, school shows such as Gokusen and I like ones set about family and friendship, you?

I watched Sherlock during New Years but there's nothing much on that interests me either. Its why I decided to go further afield...and while I do enjoy some US shows those can get predictable since most seem to have some romantic plot that is unneeded and overtakes the actual plot...

KAT-TUN is probably one of the bands I try and keep up with regularly- I mainly just watch TV shows and movies from Japan...they are so fun- and daring...
