Am so so excited for this after watching the trailer and because of Ju Ji hoon. But kind of deflated that it's only 8 episodes..
I really wanted to see him in this role for more episodes. Didn't read the web novel, so not sure if the whole story of the source is smaller to fit only 8 episodes..
The whole drama felt so beautifully poetic. With the wonderful and out of the world portrayal by the cast, I couldn't help but feel awed and just go on the beautiful journey with them throughout.
The story and the cast together made this such a warm heart touching and moving drama and I don't think I can ever forget this.. (won't be able to forget, partly because I will keep rewatching so many times)
Completed the drama and loved it. The comedy parts were just the best. I couldn't help but mention specifically the epilogue in ep 4.. it felt both heart touching and heartbreaking at the same time. It just left a strong impression on me for some reason. I watched that part repeatedly and could feel the pain and all emotions Seok Ji won's character was going through. I kind of got very much connected to the emotions ML has felt throughout, as both younger and present versions.
Not sure if I was empathizing too much with the main couple but some of their moments just touched my heart and inadvertently found myself teary eyed. It may or may not be because of the familiarity I felt with the longing or similar moments from my life. Though there were some childish moments in very first episodes, it got so so better and I really enjoyed it. As others may have mentioned, the plot in last 2-3 episodes may not feel original but I still felt they had their own warm and heart touching moments and I loved how they gave perfect conclusion to everyone's story. I personally loved those episodes too because I don't really need an original story always, as long as remaining elements are good.
Another interesting thing was the similar (may not be very similar but I couldn't help but think like that) or kind of parallel story going on in the current time involving Hye Soo and Eom Gi Seok.
But even to the end, I still couldn't help but think back and feel for the 18 years that were lost in vain because of that 1 selfish action by FL's friend. But if it wasn't for that, we wouldn't have also had this drama..!!
I will surely rewatch this when my mood is down and needs a pick up.
Loving Seok Ji won's secretary and the relationship between both of them.. Also, I am not sure why I am specially noticing the background sound effects here but felt they were so apt and fun, while adding an extra note to the emotions / comedy of the scenes..
This is so entertaining than I actually expected. It's certainly getting better as each episode goes by. Loving Ju Ji hoon, his portrayal throughout is so good but specifically, the funny parts were just perfection.
Perfect watch for me during this time of the year.. romance with heart touching moments (in my opinion), lighthearted and no convoluted plots (story is still strong enough), comedy.. what more would I need!! How good it would be if at least 1 drama like this comes out around this time every year..!!!
This has been on my watchlist for 6 years and I finally decided to give it a try, only to again put it on hold after ep 19. I couldn't drag myself further. I would rather watch the daily cases that they solve at the airport rather than the main story they want / are trying to portray. The scenes with the character Seo In woo were so off putting for some reason but that's just 1 of multiple other factors causing me to put this on hold..
Just saw some stills and oh my god, I am not able to contain my excitement.. I am usually a binge watcher but I don't think I can wait that much time for this 😅. Will prepare my mind to patiently watch it week by week..
Loved this one. I wasn't sure initially but decided to watch anyway because of Lee Min ki and I am glad I did. I also loved the fact that the FL and Seo Kang Ho's characters were not just there for mere physical assistance to ML and liked how they carried on their own investigations. I liked the depiction of multiple roads leading to same destination i.e. ML and FL doing their own analysis from different aspects and coming to same conclusion in the cases being tackled..
The phenomenon of why we still watch this needs to be studied.
Yeah, seriously.. there were some series that might have been better than this at least in some aspects, but I still dropped them and never looked back. But this one.. I am not sure even if God knows why I kept watching 😅
The only thing I could find was this (you probably have already seen this page tho )https://cornercafe.wordpress.com/2024/11/07/love-in-the-air-premonition-of-love-love-in-the-air-~恋の予感~-japanese-series-ost/
Thanks for replying 🙂, seen this page but I can feel assured that I didn't miss anything.. will hopefully find the ending OST someday 🙂
The worst for me is the acting. Ahhahahahahhahaa its soooo bad that its good, if u know what I mean hahahahahahaha…
Didn't particularly notice the eyebrow movement until I saw your comment. Now whenever I see him talking, I am so focused on his eyebrows that I forget to read subtitles. Sorry to James / Elyes but that little eyebrow dance is too hilarious for me now.. 😅😂
Wanted to check just out of curiosity.. may I ask if anyone is aware if the full version of the Japanese version of Love in the air song has been released? I couldn't stop my urge to do a futile search whenever I hear it in the series..
Am wondering why Hirukawa showed the bruises to Jin while asking to change the pain relief patch.. I haven't read the source material from which this is being adapted. Not sure if more context or insight will be provided later..
Could it be because Jin already saw the injuries and there is nothing to lose or he just trusted Jin because he kept his secret safe or he felt Jin can heal or help him or some sort of cry for help as Jin seems to be showing concern..??!!
Every episode, despite being <25mins each, is filling my heart to just enough extent. And even ep 4 seems to be jam packed based on the trailer.. I think I am too obsessed and there is no way out now. Am sure this will be on my all time favourite series list and am rewatching already aired episodes episodes while waiting and feeling the beautiful pain..!!
I have a doubt though.. (more in the reply as it could be a spoiler)
The grandfather's character is pissing me off to no end. People who hide their true nature like that are really scary. I would rather choose the stepmother as enemy, she never hid behind a mask at least
In ep 2 and I already admire Seo Ju Won's determination. It's not easy at all.. I would have given up long ago. I can't help but notice that tinge of sadness he tries to cover up
Just completed but I feel like I already watched it twice as I replayed most of the scenes as they felt just too beautiful to move on. Surely, will rewatch sometime soon as I think there are more beautiful layers and nuances that I haven't noticed or uncovered yet. I loved how the characters looked realistic (at least they felt realistic to me). I felt like I may have taken similar decisions or behaved similarly most of the times if I was that person. What can I say about the about the actors.. They were absolutely fantastic and brought the characters to life. Will probably rewatch around Christmas time..?!! 😅 Unrelated but I am wondering how the actor of Shin Ju Yeong's character got his alias.. Lee "Seon". He felt like a literal sunshine..☀️
