I am just going to assume that the telegram at the end is from Qiao Chusheng is asking Lu Yao to come back and he was just so happy he twirled the FL around, knowing he will be able to see QC again. I know there probably wont be a second season unless it is taking place after the gang war. But it would be nice to see them together again.
I've seen a few people ask this question and this is the closest thing I could find to explain what happened. I am hoping that they are able to pick the drama back up and give people the ending they are looking for. It just depends on Money and the actors availability, most of the main leads in this drama are currently working on other projects so who knows what might become of this drama
