It took me months to go to the dentist, first time I let my two teeth fall off by themselves — it was horrible — and I was only ten! At 20 I finally decided not to go through the trauma of 10 years old me and after almost 6 months I had the third tooth removed, together with the stumps of the last two.
I had three teeth removed December 23rd 2023, and my mouth was so numb I couldn't eat for hours and I bled through out the night into the next day that when I woke up I found my face in a pool of blood, plasma and water. The bleeding from one particular tooth stump — left over when the tooth rotted away in 2013 — that was pulled off finally stopped. Oh and there was an assistant to clean my teeth before anaesthesia was even applied.

Then this series is not for you, the vampires here are not bloodthirsty stupid like those in The Originals; they're more like the volturi of Twilight, cunningly calculative and waiting for the right time to strike blood will not flow till almost the end and it will be horrible then. Action you are going to get starting either in 5 or 6 when the romance is starting to bloom. And when the action starts it's going to be super fun.

When commentators start treating this series as a romantic one and a coming of age series, then and only then will you understand the series. Tong turning 21 years is significant in Thailand he becomes an Adult. Mark being slowly turned into a vampire with human emotions is the other part of the story. Tong has never loved nor has Mark. Tong has never ever left home but some people expect him to behave like Porsche in KinnPorsche who had to take care of his younger brother since he was but a child. Mark never showed emotions but someone is calling a vampire learning the contours of human countenance "expressionless". The truth is you all jumped expectingto see blood and action, believing that another series like the Sign or Pitbabe is upon you. What you demand is not realistic it is an idealist view of vampires. The Director actually is doing good job keeping the story simple and believable, but you want the action and the gore. There is no chemistry!! Of course two guys who have never loved before, possibly never wanked are supposed to meet each other and start flirting like in The Sign? The Heart killers? or fucking like dogs in heat like Pitbabe? Please for once in your life try and understand that this is not a high tension series; though the angst and tears are still coming. You are in episode 4 and you are screaming where's the plot, when it's right in front of you!

Gawin shows strength! It takes a lot of courage to fight off a police vampire trying to suck your blood and run! It takes courage to stand up to Mark and condemn his nefarious behavior towards Tonkla! It takes a lot of courage to know that your blood is being lusted over by vampires and still walk out with your head high. Tong is anything but not courageous, in fact he's stupidly brave. Do you know the horrors of finding out that you were not loved freely but for money and yet still seek true friendship?

I read Pride and Prejudice back in my secondary school library before I turned 15 years. And the only Bloody Mary I knew before I watched this series was , Queen Mary daughter of Henry VIII, who was Monarch of England from 1553–1558, she is remembered for burning anyone who is not a Catholic as a heretic on the stake! She was succeeded by her most beloved sister Elizabeth I (1558–1603) the so-called virgin Queen of England, and popularly known as Good Queen Bess (I love history).

If there's one thing Mark and Tong share together it's their life was never normal. Mark was always sickly and never got to make friends, till he gets turned into a vampire. Tong was always considered sick and couldn't interact freely with his age mates. Both actually grew up in a sheltered life; Mark had his father and Tong had Miss Nuan.
Mark's transition to vampire prevents him from ever understanding "friendship", he probably from afar observed human relationship with to be fraudulent and therefore deemed all friendship as nothing but a means to acquire something. We have a sickly teenager who spent all his time ill and never had friends cause he was sick and according to the novel a half-caste. And the other hand we have a guy who grew up entirely sheltered from the harsh realities of life. I must say that the author Dawin really wrote a convincing novel for me. The story of a cynical vampire who believes all humans to be bad and easily bought and a idealistic human who believes that anyone can be trusted is truly a novel idea in the world of vampire lore.

He didn't lust over him as a child! It all started when he tasted Tong's Golden Blood! He as a vampire do not have sexual feelings or emotions, Tong's blood is turning him into a vampire with human emotions and weakness. And nope the episode did not prove that Tong can play basketball, it proved that Tong's pheromones works wonders. Finally I would love to reiterate that Mark is not an expert on human relations, he knows nothing about friendship. He prefers to stay away from humans whom he considers untrustworthy. If you watched last episode (3) he said that after he became a vampire he can't sleep, has no emotions, and stays on his own. If you watched episode 1 before he tasted Tong's blood and even shortly thereafter he was emotionless. However you are right on Nakan's ability which even I while reading the novel was surprised Mark did not inform Tong of when he suspected Tonkla of being manipulated.
Please did any of you watch Be My Favorite? Can anyone remind me of Krist acting again in that lovely series? If you think Gavin childish character is irritating, I present to you Kawi who I am beginning to think is the character Gavin copied whilst acting My Golden Blood.
Kawi pouts worse than Tong, when he eats he makes Tong look civilized in his eating habits, when he wants to get angry or mad you did discover that 20 years Tong has more self control than 30 years Kawi who travelled back to the past.
And funny enough people complained about Krist acting, they felt uncomfortable with what someone here termed "helpless bottom". Yet Krist nailed his role as an actor in my Beloved Be My Favorite. He departed from his earlier role as grumpy face, strict and uptight senior in SOTUS.
As someone who knows the character Gavin portrayed in Dark Blue Kiss; the notorious "Mork" a very troublesome, bratty fighter; I did say that there's nothing wrong with Tong! That you are irritated with Tong shows that Gavin is doing a very good job. If you read the novel, you did find Tong to be quite exhausting and sometimes you did think he is an idiot.
