Wow I wasnt expecting CiXi to be portrayed by a Japanese woman. She's by far the most well recieved version, too. I admire her professionalism, too. Theres a few derogatory terms when mentioning Japanese in this drama.
It got to the point where I just stopped watching Na Juhee and just skipped her scenes altogether.
Her character isn't very likeable. I didnt notice with first watch, but now I do. Everything she does is stupid and her only saving grace is plot armor and Seungchun. Why are these FLs always so stupid. Personally i wish Yeojin is fl for once. In a drama like this, I wish there is a intelligent and scheming FL which would add something to the story. Juhee is more suitable for fluff dramas.

First of all, many of us fans watched for Eunwoo bc we want to support his work. Wanting to support someone who like is not a crime. Many of us probably do like this genre of supernatural media, like me for example. I have no said one thing about his face, I usually keep tbose private or talk to friends or fellow fans about that.
Plus, I didn't watch for face alone. I want to see how Eunwoo have improve as an actor bc as a fan I want him to get better and better. Not saying he has groundbreaking acting, I want to see his improvement as one. And never have I complained once about pacing or it being boring. It did fell short of the exciting premise. Its not that groundbreaking of a show that I have to gube it a 10.
I also said this show mighg be doing something like the movie Dune (2021) where they're trying to set things up and introduce the character and world building. My reasoning for this odea is bc tbis method worked very well for Dune. I was trying to offer my thoughts on why its only 6 episodes. Ofc it wasnt executed that well and it's the reality.

I think this person is taking their anger out on us. They act like its a crime to watch for him. I've never even said this drama is boring or slow nor did I overly praise it. I watched this cuz I wanna support Eunwoo and see how his acting might have grown. Yet, this person thinks Im hating on this drama. This show isnt important enough for me to be reluctant about changing the rating for someone, but I care enough about revenge to change it out of spite. Tones can be very different with different ways wording. The words you pick just made you sound angry and it feels to me like you want someone to vent this frustration on. Its not like I give it a 10 cuz of Eunwoo. So what if I watch for him? Is it wrong to support someone you like? I rated a 7 for the exciting beginning and Eunwoo and for the potential it had. You can't expect a full 10, its not that groundbreaking
