I grew up in the 1980 in real life. So, I am excited to watch this drama. I wish they bring back those songs/ost too from this eras.

Hello, I watched 1-25 and ff to my favorite scenes . Do not worry. I already watched all the episodes without ff already 2nd time. All those times, it was great to see it with fresh eyes as I totally miss some of the details and moments. However, I still do not get why they show Jin Yuanbo and totally gloss over him looking at her. What is the deal. Does he like Fan Yuanchua or not.

Other than that, my favorite scenes is the music/ost when ML find her on the cliff. I watched that more than once. Also, when she slapped in couple of episodes. I watched that too many times. 😅

I so hope they do not go to Romeo/Juliet theme. I already watch all those Romeo/Juliet movies and it was always so sad ending. So, I hope they do not go that route.

I am up to episode 5 for now as I am busy in real life. However, my gut feeling he is either Peacock or a spy for the Peacock. Also, I do not know why, I got the feeling of Great Tang King is the true Peacock. Somehow, I got a sus af feeling of him. 😅

I do hope they do not rushed the ending and reveal the real Peacock at the rush ending too.
So far, I love the first case. I hope we get more cases soon.

Good morning everyone!!! I feel like it was way too long for the Yang/Wei issues too. They should have shortened that and make the ML family longer. Overall, it was great the first fifteen episodes for me. The middle was ok. The ending was really rushed. First drama of 2026 that I completed and not dropped.

The only thing, is that I do not like that Grandma. I have couple of friends who has a grandmother like that way. I can you tell some of them do not visit and others has a short visit with Grandmother like FL. FL/ML is ok for me. As I read below, if it is role reversal. People will like ML more. I get it. However, it is drama. So, it is not real life. I do feel the sympathy of wife of episode 30-36 as that shows it is in real life too.

Therefore, I only like the OST and tea histories. I hope all those short dramas leads now will go to long dramas. Have a wonderful day and great weekend, everyone!!!🖤🖤🖤

I like both episodes and love the trailer of the next two episodes. They miscommunication and misunderstanding is clear up. Let’s just enjoy the ride and no more arguments. I do love FL clothes but some of them seem too long for her.

@Kinara This is drama. Not real life. Also, it is also explains what happened. If you watch both episode closely you will see it. They misunderstand and the way they clear the misunderstanding. She is clumsy but she is a responsible gal. For ML, it is the trust issues. Heck, they both need to communicate better but it is early stage. Also, it is still beginning. ML/SML, we do not know what really happened between them when they are young. Also, the FL does not know the past of them either. Just watch closely or not and see how it goes or you can just read the novel.

I finished reading novel of Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yaros. (Read it twice. Now, reading second book.) I watch the final two episodes of Dear X and today episode of General Li/Yimei. I am now done crying for today. 😩😢🖤

From the next two episodes. One of two episodes will be a tear jerker. Also, I am surprised that they show the ships too in the trailer. I thought it will be later on around 1900s when the ship arrive to China. Other than that, it is great to see FL and yes. She is badass. I am liking the slow burn romance of them. I just hope they do not rush them getting married at the end like every other chinese/Korean drama.

Episode 20 kind of remind me of my favorite movie Dr. Zhivago of the way they dress Russians. Also, from watching the trailer of episode 22. I am glad we get to see General Li and Yeimi again. 🖤
