I just finished this and agree with your comment. One of the most (cause there are more) ridiculous things is that he has severe asthma and one day he just throws the pump away after beating another more experienced inmate!! Not only that, but he with asthmatic self starts chain smoking ??
Or how about he just stops trying to fight his innocence?? Was prison going so well? He wasn't even in there six months!!!

I went down the rabbit hole with this show! Now, I wait for the finale episode in 4 days and at this point I can't predict anything but to say this is a great watch!!! No romance which I loved and the twists and turns these episodes take you on. You never know what's going to change.
One thing about this show, it shows the wickedness of some humans! To save themselves the length that they will go to.

Well ok. I think I'll watch this series when its completed along with the reviews. I was so glad that this was not another University drama buttt.....

I was a little skeptical at the start...like who are these nerds. I was also like why is it so slow? Where are the fight scenes? Mind you when we got further into the story and the fight scenes did come, I could barely watch it. Why? cause it was sooo vicious and believable! My stomach could not take it all in! The purpose of the fight was even better but still hard to watch for me.

This is definitely a must watch action even if I could not stomach the fights much. Great story even though its horrible and good acting.

Are people on rating because of War's visuals? why such high ratings and we not even half way through this series yet? I waited in anticipation for this pairing again and all the previews leading up to Jack and Joker had me convinced...but..after watching this first episode, I'm not so sure about it.
Parts of this first episode gave rehearsal vibes. Jack's hairstyle is like what the heck!! the fight in the dojo was so lame....yes I said it.
I am a fan of these two but this so far is giving low budget, I don't have anything else to do so let me help you with your drama!
I hope it gets better....I will say that though that they do have chemistry so that is something to look forward to and his hairstyle changes...lol...

I liked this series but then again this is a genre that I love. I thought the story could've been a lot stronger and I do agree with some ppl that an additional season would not have been a bad idea although this ending works for me as well.
The cast were great I think. Even Cha Eun Woo who I normally think needs help with his facial expressions did great. I saw him moody, crying, pondering and laughing and not to forget his action parts... I think he did well. The FL started off as a strong character which I always love but then they turned her into a crier...later we understand but it was annoying and of course I have nothing bad to say about my fav actor Kim Nam Gil!! His character was meant to be broody so I am happy with this show!!

I just watched this whole thing and can't believe that the ending was the ending. It was a light watch so I didn't mind too much but that ending....For ppl who didn't read the book that 's why we watched to see an ending that looks like there is another episode. This was all over the place.

Agreed with everything you said and I am at episode 16. I hope you changed your mind about the FL brother because he is cringey all the way up to this epsiode and she is still wishy washy. I wonder if I'll make it to the end?? hmmm

Loved it! that psycho was something else!! This was a good movie to watch. No boring spots and the chase scenes had me feeling like I was running round corners with them. The police were kinda dumb but I enjoyed the movie not to hold it against them. lol

This drama had me talking to the screen at times! Yelling in fact at the GF like wtf!! Is she sooo dumb? The show was good but it def could have been wrapped up in shorter episodes like 10 or 12. How does the villain continue to control everything?? How?? and everyone is just playing along. This villain had time, lemme tell you. The BF is trash, nothing will bring him to good light. There are no redeeming qualities for the ppl that do bad in this series.

Unpopular opinion I did not think that it was all that great. The acting was fine but the ML character in the beginning I was all for it but it changed somewhere...where I don't know. From him caring to Not caring to caring again...sigh..but I guess this is human nature. How individuals still were trying to control the disaster and not human life was just .... I did cry and cry in the end with tears and snot and all that good stuff. It was my last movie watch for the night and I found myself going to sleep still crying. Got up with swollen eyes for work the next day.

Loved it! In the beginning was like what the heck is this although I found humor. It got better. Great movie, motivational and some ppl did not like the ending but I sure did! Inspirational. Take a watch ppl

Soooo....Just finished ep 1 and I'm going to continue just to see how things progress cause it was not bad...however, How could you give up on the case because the supposed criminal confessed when you had doubts and you SAW your superior beating a confession out of the dude!! how do you just let go of this fact and the random evidence you found just like that and move on while a possible innocent is in jail??/ I'm watching to see how he redeems himself. Also the Captain did not even investigate anything. Just got evidence of one possible culprit and that's it case closed!! How does the subordinate just go along with the captain??

Yep!! I strugglledd! The struggle was real. I dropped it 4 episodes to the end. I just could not with the FL face and it was just, just....maybe it's just me... and chemistry non existent....sigh

In everything she acts in. I do like Rain's acting and I watched for the story but they have no chemistry at least I did not feel like they did. She is wooden as you said!

Hmmm....What to say?? Can you have too much of something in a movie?? I was so pumped to watch this but the story just starting fizzling for me. Well known actors in what I would say was absolute crap!! I said it. Could have gone so many ways to make it great but nope!!
