Park Jin is the MVP of for me. It has been ever since he started cooking.
I was hoping he would play a part at the very end.

Hoping for a happy ending! Won't be able to rewatch it otherwise.

This is finally coming to an end. I have been enjoying Part 2 and was quite happy with the slow pacing and all. Villain has been weak and still makes no sense with his outsized influence, but I have long since accepted he is just there to provide roadblocks so that we can have an enjoyable love story.

Now that we are at the business end I really hope they stick the landing. Quite liked Hotel del Luna so I am optimistic!

Yes and yes, assuming I understood the episode correctly. The Choi ancestor developed Alchemy of Souls.

Seems Jin Mu just exploited Choi brother's insecurity to assist him. That brother doesn't seem too sharp anyway.

I think it was just the normal realm. Notice Naksu/MD's stance, similar to how she was hanging just before. Bu Yeon may have manifested somehow using wind and such within ice stone. I don't know if we will get a good explanation for this.

Soul realm, as you call it, always seem to have some kind of a starry heavens background.

It was the Choi brother all along. That was given as the reason she is such a powerful priestess.

Couldn't figure out what happened with the ice stone and related characters. Is it meant to be obscure and revealed later, or did I miss something?

He could've thought that would be torture for her. Afterall he himself couldn't face it and fled.

Which was a nice little close the loop moment from when Jang Uk saved her from soul shifter.

If indeed it turns out that Jang Uk and Bu Yeon are reincarnations of the 200 year old pair that will cause some interesting events.

It will disappear, only had power inside ice stone. Or at least thats what she believes. Which is why she wanted to soul shift while she still could.

Well, Yul was depowered for this episode.

Liked the fact that they didn't dawdle with the Naksu soul shifter fight. She went toe to toe with Park Jin, who is some sort of professional fighting master, so the head of a minor (merchant?) family should be a cakewalk.

Speaking of which I am hoping for a Naksu/ Park Jin rematch.

So Bu Yeon is just lazy, right? Prefer to just chill in there, and only putting in the effort when things go south.

I like the Tansu aesthetic, makes the moveset look similar to the priestess's rain dance.

Mu Deok is able to unseathe the sword in preview. I guess Bu Yeon allows her to use her powers, like the couple of times before when she was in need.

Naksu + Bu Yeon seems like a formidable combo. Between them they have got a lot of areas covered ability wise.

So Park Jin administered the newlywed game. Thats neat.

He just learned Chisu and clearly Yul has been there for some time and is experienced.

Not really, there is a huge experience gulf.

Jang Uk was not able to beat any other mages before, when they were all technically on the same level.

So from the preview seems Jang Uk probably lost. Would've been very weird if he won.
