It's so stupid to have this many jokes about her face. We have plenty of ugly guys as side characters and no jokes about them. Why? Because it wouldn't be funny, so why anyone thinks it's funny to have these stupid jokes about her? Her character is Let's Eat was so sad sometimes, the jokes were almost offensive and My Wife is doing almost as bad with her.
I think FBND was a terrible show and she should have been just labeled as very shy. No, she didn't have a therapist and the whole story of how she got that way and her behavior and how she got cured was totally absurd.
It's nice but it could be so much better. Too many unrealistic setups. I watch only because the writer and the director are funny together but I'm not sure about the others. You talk about tropes but what about the

screaming mother in law being horrible all the time and the crazy daughter and lunatic makjang story involving Ji Hyun?
There is no excuse for Sun Mi being such a superficial character either. Another problem for me is their friendship not being very real, they never talk about nonsense and real problems and all have this huge secrets from each other, it's just not realistic. Friends don't act like that. I'm tired of watching kareoke and binge drinking as proof of friendship, wish kdramas would get real!

Perfect! I would add girl from Personal Taste! Incredibly boring and girl from Prosecutor Princess which is perhaps my most hated character of all kdrama land and that's saying something!

Messy! Crazy city! Filled with noises and colors and very loud people.:)
I think this article is strange, I mean calling 3 or 6 years gap an AGE difference???? Really? In what world?…
Yes, I've started to understand that for Korea maybe a gap can be something like 6 years, I'm brazilian and I don't consider anything less than 10 years to be a real age difference.

Having said that, the Cyrano OTP didn't work for me either but it was only because the STORY didn't make it work and plain lack of chemistry, I love the main guy but he was more a concerned uncle than a man in love.
Personal Taste didn't work for me either but it had nothing to do with age, again a simple matter of lack of story and chemistry. That actress never is any good for me. Min Ho did look the part even if he could not act either lol.
Aahahahahh, BEST editorial I've read here so far. I had the SAME conversation with my brain EVERY episode of Faith, Nice Guy and City Hunter! My brain got the best of this tug of war on Missing You after the adults came in and Level 7 after 8 eps. The brain is getting stronger! The only kryptonite seems to be Lee Min-Ho, Heirs here I go! :)
Can anyone tell me the ending of the j-version? Please? What is the difference? Please mark as spoilers! :)
Wow, 3 years later??? That seems like too much time to be apart, it's ok if there is a relationship already but they had barely a start really, seems odd. Thanks!
My list: Hwang Tae Young (You're Beautiful) MiHo (My Girlfriend is a Gumiho) Dokko Jin (Best Love) Yoo Rin (My…
Ahahaha, maybe I love self-involved characters, though I'm not sure I'd call Yoo Rin narcissistic. To think Joo Won from secret garden almost made the list, but he's not as charming as the others for me. :)
Rooftop Prince should not be here. The heroine was great but she only started strong, later she became very weak, doing crazy things and crying all the time, after she fell in love she went through that silly transformation that so many female characters do in kdramas, became a crying machine. I NEVER understand what's up with that. I wouldn't put Killer K here either. She was just traumatized and was manipulated almost the entire show, that's not being strong.
Protect the Boss is right, not a great show but truly maybe the only show I've watched where the girl started strong and stayed that way!
