Me too, it's so so so good,the chemistry is off the roof.

I actually felt they are being quiet consistent with the plot and it isn't all that over the place.
I will try to answer you but I can be wrong too.

1.I know a girl who graduated with a medical degree,then sat on another exam after that for government job. Currently she is working with the gov,she is still a doctor but she does crime related works(you get my point right? Usually anyone can sit on these government jobs,if you are smart enough you will get it,but most people don't do it,they go to the normal way of pursuing normal doctor job,some are ambitious,they go for all).
Now,ken is an immortal,he had all the time in the world,it was possible for him to probably crack every exam he took or maybe he forged papers.

2. Currently we don't know if they are vampires,they do need blood and they feel strong urge for it,but since ken can control himself I don't know how strong the urge is. He has supernatural strength and speed.

3. A Nour can't die,but we know that a special someone can kill a Nour,now whether that special someone needs to be a Nour's romantic interest,we don't know that yet. So I think,James is Ken's special someone who can kill him,and his blood is probably entirely different to him to the point he lost control. If you noticed,when ken first licked James finger,he did it instinctively.
So the kiss could have been his instinct or impulse too,or maybe he kissed him to hide the fact he just licked blood.

4. Ken doesn't care about his surroundings,and he doesn't like changes. If you have noticed,he can use button phone,and laptop. Though he was quite careful with them too. Looks like he never felt the need to learn about a smartphone as a button phone did whatever little things he needed with the world exactly the same. Also,he might have mopped around for a long time when technologies were getting invented and didn't stay up-to-date.later it became too hard for him.

5. Please read the 3rd number of my comment again,here I will just say James crossed the boundary ken carefully built around him,and if they are going for the soulmate concept than it's even more obvious. Plus maybe it's the first time someone tried to save ken. He is an immortal,so there's no way not a single human being didn't know about his condition in the past. Maybe someone used his ability against him,and used him again and again as he didn't die. We only know ken wants to die,yeah I know immortality is a sad thing,but when he first tried to die he didn't live that long I think,so maybe something happened or maybe not.

6. And yes James has power,we don't know yet what he is. Maybe he is related to Nours too.

I agree with you,I find the boss guy attractive too,he has a unique face and they complement each other perfectly.

Except the AI part I loved the entire thing, fortunately they used ai not that much,also he was so cute with that laptop and James has a unique face,they look good together
