I didn't watch this drama, but even to me it's clear the makers are trying to fish in two ponds,no friend look at the other friend like that,no friend hallucinate each other,but yeah it's definitely not BL because the makers are trying to queerbait and straight bait at the same time.

This is a fictional series for the love of god, there's tons of other things people can worry about,stop worrying about if people are shipping them or thinking it has bromance as long as they are not disrespecting eachother. You are free to have your opinion, others are free to keep theirs.

Stop pretending that the makers were queer baiting,there are countless just male friendship drama from many countries out there. Except few rare cases no one ships them. But this drama particularly shows their dynamic differently. No one is looking at their friends like that,or hallucinating like that,they both do. Plus if one of them were a girl,none of you would have said this. Anyway,I am not even watching this series,but the makers are clearly cunning,they are fishing in two ponds,and making the pond's residents fight eo to create more buzz too.

But as a BL lover and a girl who watches both bg,and BL,I will say misogynistic women exist in both fandom. You will see people hating on second female lead but worshipping second male lead,even when they are not doing anything different. Lastly,in bls,many girl characters are villains,I hate this stereotypes,but yeah, human always find something to blame a woman.

But on this particular drama,her character is not well developed till now, the creators probably did it intentionally as they are clearly trying to make people see the chemistry between the two male leads. At the end,it all just comes to Money,they want to fish in both fandom shamelessly.

Personally I am neutral about DMD right now,I used to hate them in the past as they made some real shitty bls,but currently I am seeing them pouring in money in their projects,or maybe gmmtv is so low that other company doing something is looking good. But I didn't really like the dmd's series,they were just ok ok for me.

And Korea is such a capitalistic country(I mean every country is bad but Korea damn), they are trying to fish in two ponds,and they were successful in it. They also successfully made the two pond's resident fight each other(sensible ones don't) and created enough heat so that other ponds notice it too.

Watch their first kiss again,ken actually didn't kiss James at first,he went for the blood around James's mouth,ken lost his mind for James's blood,it was James who misunderstood and turned that into kiss.
And at that time James couldn't see Ken's aura,even if his power sounds handy, there's no doubt it was emotionally exhausting for him(he is not emotionally stable that's for sure),ken being an exception to his power probably intrigued him very much.

Their attraction was justified.

I guess so, people are fine with series about love at first sights,if this trope can justify a lifetime love than soulmate concept can definitely explain their fast attraction toward each other as they met quite a lot. Not as absurd as the love at first sight thingy.

Anyway jokes apart,they have some supernatural connections,ken always lose control in front of James blood and James is quite mentally unstable, before he couldn't even see the aura of ken,as much as his power sounds handy,it must have been exhausting too,so ken being an exception must have given him solid reasons to feel intrigued, resulting such feelings.

I see, so different from my country. In my country a doctor has to do it all,but first they need to crack a three level exam,then go through a training period,then they will be in the office. Not every doctor has a office in the building of police,but the higher ranked ones do. In fact they have an entire section separated for them.
But the process to become one is quite hard,but people still do it cause of the good pay and government benefits.

As someone who thinks the pacing is too fast,I agree with you.
But it would have still been better if they just added one or two more episodes. Their love story is still believable too because we don't know how long they were working together.
