not really, the cute but assertive balance IU brings to the character is what makes it possible to get close to the royals and eventually the people that love the prince. if she was more reckless, more shameless she would undoubtedly have an untrustworthy stigma that would derail the romcom.

ML acting is not bad, he is a prince, his actions and feelings have to be contained but his eyes tell a whole different story, same thing with FL and her " im here, im loud attitude" thats how she grew up to survive. Its that type of nuances you have to consider, the fact that they are beautiful and good looking is a bonus.
If youre looking for realism this isnt going to be the drama for you, if youre looking for extreme emotions and drama...this romcon would most likely fall short on your expectations.

exactly! they are there for a reason and they are here to stay so just enjoy the romcom. Also shout out to Kdrama romcoms that stay true to their genre all the way through. I get so confused when they start having an identity crisis and you don't even know what you're watching anymore.

This is good and it has potential to keep growing from here. I am very happy for BWS, this was a great choice. Good plot, great characters, well known kdrama bits with new twists. can't wait for new episodes
