An excellent drama from beginning to end. The ending wasn't what I wanted or expected, but overall, I wasn't too disappointed. The OST pulled at my heartstrings. Loved the girl bonding.
One of the Best Dramas I've seen this year. Everything from plot to character development was on point, and I applaud the creator, writers and producers of this series.
Great job recapping this episode, JustJackieB. The first episode really reeled me in and the second got me hooked. Anticipating the next episode. As mysecretsoul said, there is something missing and I can't quite put my finger on it yet, but I will enjoy figuring it out.
Great article! Won Bin is the reason for my addiction to Korean movies and then dramas. With all the new, upcoming young idols these days, actors of Bin's caliber have been put on the back-burner. However, with their abilities they refuse to stay there. He is a truly talented actor and a man of few words (that's so sexy). No matter who comes along, he remains at the top of my podium.
I agree with Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Panic; I would love seeing both brought to life onscreen. Great character selections for the Saiunkoku series. I love Wolf's Rain, but not quite sure if I'd like a live adaptation. It would probably remind me of the Twilight series; thanks, but no thanks.
Personally, I would love to Berserk. Black Lagoon and Hellsing live.
I am so glad to see that "City Hunters" Lee Jin Pyo made the list. He is/was the ultimate 'revengist' (and no... that is not a word, but a very apt description). I may be off my rocker a bit, but I found his character very exciting; his devil-may-care attitude and his tenacious and meticulous thirst for revenge made this drama series worth watching.
I really enjoyed this drama, even-though half-way through the ending became predictable for 2 couples. However, the unexpected twist in the later episodes kept me intrigued. An awesome cast and great plot on the intricacies of relationships. I think I learned something here.

Ohayou and Happy New Year!!! Thanks for the friend invite.
Faith had everything going for it. It had an awesome cast and each performed their roles to perfection. The Japanese version of Dr. Jin was best left alone, in my opinion, it was already epic.
Lee Philip was born in Washington D.C.. And he grew up there.. His parents live there, and have since 2 years…
Yeah!! He's from my hometown. I also read he attended George Washington University. Too bad it was engineering instead of medicine, I probably would have met him at some point. :sighs: Anywho... I expect nothing less from his English under those circumstances.

Thanks for accepting the friendship amrita828! After reading your bio, I see you are just as straightforward, down-to-earth and entertaining as you are on AC/DC. It's great seeing you here.
There is no doubt the women on the Japanese list are all beautiful, but to me, they all look similar with no unique quality; they're just... beautiful. Kichise Michiko is a sultry actress missing from that list, as well as Horikita Maki with her natural beauty and Ayase Haruka.
The Korean list is a good one, but missing the overlooked Moon Chae Won and boysih beauty Ha Ji Won and the cute Yoo In Na from "Secret Garden".
I have not watch enough Tawanese and Chinese dramas to judge, but Lui Yefei (C) and Kwai Lun-Mei (T) stands out in the ranks.
Maki is a great actress! I really enjoyed her in "Hana Kimi", I enjoyed the cuteness, but loved the maturity she displayed in "Takujo Kabachi" and becasue of that, I'm looking forward to watching "Innocent Love".
I recall watching this movie several years ago; for women, I found it very deep and disturbing, wondering at the competitiveness, mindset and tenacity of the role of the movie's female characters. True... this is not a happy story, but is a revelation in Chinese culture.
Great compilation; however, in my opinion, the actors missing from the Japanese list are Kenichi Matsuyama (he…
I promise, A2D, you will not be disappointed. Watching him in "Kamui" made me realize his versatility as an actor. But, I can't believe you've never seen the live "DeathNote" series. Check out those first and let me know what you think, okay.

I agree, Moniisek, I thought Matsuyama was awesome as L, but it didn't end there for him. He's grown as an actor or enhanced his skills. I can't fathom how he would be missed on any list.
Great compilation; however, in my opinion, the actors missing from the Japanese list are Kenichi Matsuyama (he was excellent in "Kamui", "Don't laugh at my Romance", and made the live version of "Gantz" worth watching), Takeshi Kaneshiro (splendid actor across the board, remember the "Red Cliffs" movies; enough said... and my personal favorite "Shinigami no Seido").
The Korean list is missing Won Bin; from his role in "Autumn Tale" to "The Man from Nowhere" and "Mother", this actor has proven the extent of his acting abilities.
The actors I mentioned go far beyond looking good on screen, but take acting to a higher level.
I was disappointed that it took the last episode for Satoshi to somewhat redeem himself, and I agree with HAVA-RAVA, the second season may just do that.
Personally, I would love to Berserk. Black Lagoon and Hellsing live.
