I'm not one to cry for dramas but after being so invested in this for weeks and despite the continuous repetition of 'guns and glory, sad ending' by the characters my subconscious anticipated and longed for a happy ending. I mean, what did I expect from a historical drama set in the Japanese occupation period with patriotism , sacrifice and self actualization as its major theme, ha! foolish me.
It took me so long to realize the tears rolling down my cheeks as I watched the main characters die one by one the only consolation I have is that they must have died happy about the fact that they died serving their country?
I'm a mess. I just need to cuddle my pillow and cry myself to sleep, I will be fine tomorrow morning :)
