As a person who has horses, how he killed that horse was in no way humane or doing it because it was suffering 😂😂 he did that to make his wife suffer. If he was trying to humanely shoot that horse there is a precise spot on their head where you have to shoot them to kill them “instantly” (the bullet will go through their brain and sever the brain stem), not to mention that there’s different distances (relatively close actually) you have to be from their head as well as certain bullets/guns etc. He fired two shots (only takes 1 if done humanely and correctly) not aiming anywhere precisely. Not to mention nobody puts a horse down while it’s in a stall, how tf are you going to get it out easily? You’re not 🤡 good luck with all the slings and straps you’re going to need to drag a 1,000-1,250+ pound carcass through a typically 4 foot opening. Especially with the way that one was positioned laying down. Not to mention two gunshots in a barn with other horses in stalls lol, he would have had however many more breaking legs freaking out because of the noise. Unless he does target practice in there often lol.
