This is NOT true, as someone who has read the novel and loves it, Thayu and Kanfah are not background characters, they are literally the ones who investigate and solve the mystery. A huge part of the story is told based on their persepective and side of the story. Regarding love lines, there will still be romance love moments between Thayu and Kanfah. Also, the novel has a happy ending.

They mentioned at the event that it will air this year so I'm guessing around end of the year, but there could be delays or whatnot. But I don't mind if it airs next year too as long as the project is well produced and they dont rush it.
