To be honest 2 was mid

To start off I felt the comedy side was a bit too much in the first few episodes and the change in editing style is very noticeable as compared to the the last season. The characters seems cheaper like the crown prince and second prince behave and I didn't like Fan xian easily keening before the emperor. To me it feels like this season is lighter tone as compare to the darker tone in the novel.

Another one with 12 episodes just hopping it didn't end on a cliffhanger

I completely agree with you. While watching this I feel like I was watching a whole differnt drama than what the reviewers said about this trash.

Bcause of ratings issue its really hard to find a good drama these days. I have watched countless dramas with ratings in between 8 to 9 and end up dropping most of this year on the contrary I have found some low rated dramas better then those over hyped ones.

Someone recommended me this sh*t and after few episodes my head start spinning can't understand a thing that is happening. I also hate the narrator that starts speaking in almost every episode.
