I dont understand that how he doesnt have redeeming quality even though he was anger with is friend Tharn he came…
And this is where we disagree. Maze's experience does not give him the right to project on Phap. You said it yourself, He knows that Phap loves him and went into denial. What you left out is how he treated him. If you can say that Maze actions towards Phap are justified and he didn't need to apologize and own up to his bullish behaviour, then we might as well end here. From my end it looks like you're trying to justify bullying and selfishness. Maze prioritising his relationship with Nueng is NOT an excuse to let him treat Phap the way he did. And even if I was to forgive that, Maze NEVER accepts responsibility for it. He never said, "I'm sorry for my brother" and he never told Neung that he was too harsh, which he could've done without offending him. Denial is one thing but being aggressive is another. I've watched enough bls to know that denial doesn't have to result in aggressive behaviour. But in this case it did and the aggression is constant. Maze helped Phap get himself in order, yes. That was after he cancelled jobs that Phap was in line to get just so that he could pay him the minimum, basically extort him, for the wedding job. If you pay attention you'd see that all of the outcomes started with Maze who admitted several times that he gets whatever he wants. You are allowed to disagree but I remain constant. Maze went into Phap's life, he turned it upside down and did everything for his benefit. What he wanted for Phap and what he wanted from Phap while treating him in a degrading manner. I will not try to justify his action because there are no excuses. Where the show should have gone, which is why I'm upset, Maze couldn't change the past but he could have accepted responsibility. He could've and should've apologised and again, he should've gone to Phap. How do you end the show and not have the primary bully say I'm sorry. Not even once? That makes it seem like his actions were always correct and you seem to think so. I, however, disagree. As others have said, He is the most dislikable character and his behaviour ruined the chemistry that could've been.

Thank you for the context. My comment still stands. He was an asshole. The point I'm making is that he was never a good person to Phap. He was always good to his friends and his friends good to him. He was never good to Phap. He cussed him without remorse and never defended him from his brother. The brother also was a big problem because he was consistently mean to Phap to get a reaction from Maze and was comfortable with confusing Phap while Maze did nothing. The show framed Maze as the prize and never did he actually treat Phap like he loved him. I strongly believe Phap was too good to and for him.
As to your point about the character at the beginning of the show. Maze was the same person. It was 5 minutes before the show ended he slightly softened up. The entire show was Phap chasing Maze and Maze bitching at him or about him. He only softened up when he was went to Japan and went right back to being an asshole when he came back. If you want to talk about Maze and changing. He should've opened up to Phap once he came back or before he even left. He should've, at the very least, ask his brother to stop fueling the fire and he should've been the one to go to Phap in the end, not the other way around. I believe this sets a hierarchy to their relationship where Maze can do, say to treat Phap anyway and he's gonna be fine with it.
You also mention that he let Phap go so he could become famous. If you recall, fame was never Phap's intention. He was in it for the art and even after he returned his lifestyle did not change, he lived in the same house with his chicken and lizard. The real question is, did Phap even want to go to Japan? That I believe is debatable.
I really hope it won't be directed by the same person as Gen Y 2. He gave Dun and Bas absolutely zero personality in Gen Y and I simply cannot survive it in this. I also have no clue what a cat slave is but imma watch it.
BounPrem ace it no matter what they show up in. They need their own show, dammit!
Boy, do I have news for you! "Between Us" airing in November, a spin -off from UWMA. I'm ready and waiting. I don't like that it's gonna be college based so likely to be largely stereotypical but imma watch because BounPrem are my boys! https://kisskh.at/60637-hemp-rope
I'm living for this BounPrem moment. I've been waiting on Between Us for so long. Love it! Also appreciate the serious moment discussing LGBTQ rights in Thailand. Very on point especially given the recent equal marriage law ruling. Perfect timing.
What is going on? Getting more and more immature. I don't know why I expected more serious issues. It really is giving nothing at this point. What the hell does Kuea even want?? Help, please.
Theo moved to Thailand and staged this massive elaborate ruse effectively manipulating Akk because he claims to love him. Akk stays through it all, by his side, through all the BS he brought on himself and fought unnecessary battles to finally end up together. Theo then decides to leave Akk behind because of his mom who is perfectly capable of being on her own. Theo leaves, Akk follows. I'm writing this to make it make sense cause its nonsensical! Ugh! Theo does and did nothing to deserve Akk. Akk never did anything out of character, he was always selfless and supportive and now Theo expected Akk to stop him from leaving? Why is Theo even the prize? I hate that framing! Akk is the prize and don't ever get it twisted. He's loving, supportive and selfless beyond measure. Yes, he needs more confident but that won't change his demeanour. Theo however is selfish, childish, manipulative and an emotional wreck. He feels justified in doing all these things because he believes he is superior to Akk and that supports Akk's reservations to confess to him in the first place.
I have argued this before and will continue to, not every bl couple needs to end up together. This is one of them. Akk should've gathered himself and find someone who can reciprocate the love he has to give. Theo should've gone to France and live a sad and lonely life knowing that nobody will ever love him like Akk.
Also, Teh and Oh-aew shoudn't have ended up together either. Bite me!
I don't understand how everybody just ignored the fact that Maze is an absolute piece of sh!+. He has no redeeming qualities. They really missed the mark with this series.
It was so good until it wasn't. The finale was so underwhelming. I feel like most of the problems between the couples remained unsolved or unaddressed. Vee and Dome deserved better. I still like it and I feel kind of empty now that its over but it just feels incomplete. To me at least. Sigh.
I WAS so good. Emphasis on the WAS. I feel like all the shows I had high expectations for have a turning point. Straight downhill from there. Imma still watch it though.
This episode irked me, as it should I suppose. The mother instilling her conservative values on them, though cliché, did not sit well with me especially considering she has throughout the series been the soft one that allows everyone to do as they please. Not only the mother but I'm particularly irked by the Doc, sister and Korn. Win is notoriously stubborn and just now learnt how to be more selfless and calm on that trip. They know Win's feelings but they still feel it acceptable to pull this stunt thinking Win will miraculously confess his feelings. And by doing, take away the happiness his sister and mother claim to want. The thought process evades me. But, for the plot so whatever. I'm also tired of these damn two minute romances with EarthMix. They always end up together right as the story ends and you never get to see them navigate life as a couple. I don't know how but I'm disappointed despite not having high hopes.
Why the F did they make the main character of the show the villian in the 2nd to last episode? Why did all of…
They literally ruined a good show right before it ends. This is literally self sabotage. I cannot see how anything in this episode solves Fah's and Thorn's problems. And making Thorn the primary villain is so misguided. He had every right to be angry. He literally built the team and Fah's and Coach Big's careers with his own blood, sweat and tears and got them to where they are. He suffered a major injury in the process and without any form of understanding they turned their backs on him and disregarded his reality. I'm mad. Also, upset that we didn't get any update on the side couples. Unless episode 12 is 2 hours long, I don't see these issued being resolved. I'm disappointed.
