I’m back again, lol. I just want to say that most of this years Thai bls have given us excellent couples with horrible roles/stories (or just bad endings). Not only CutiePie that gave us three - ZeeNuNew, MaxNat (not their first roles together) and TutorYim but also The Tuxedo - ChapGreen, Echanté - ForceBook, KimmonCopter and BankBonus (again) in That’s My Candy and What Zabb Man ( Sorry I don’t think the main couple have good chemistry). All good pairings in my opinion but shows are lacking in some way. Sigh

Yes! I actually noticed that about Diao while I was typing. Go Diao! I also liked that he decided to tell Kuea about Lian being at his show despite Yi's comment. He thought about it and decided that his commitment is to his best friend to share it with him.

The very thought of a season two gives me a headache but there's no way they can solve this train wreck of issues in 50 minutes. But for more Nuea/Syn, it may just be worth it.
My wish is for it to get better *Insert Syn's 'Sathu'*
Let's discuss solutions! Here's my alternative, please share yours. These people gave us about 6 episodes of fluff! I suggest that everything that happened up to ep 11 happen by ep 6. After the failed proposal (which I do agree with them not getting married) use the other 6 episodes to show how they actually learn about each other. Let them open up, let us see Lian supporting 'Kiren' without hiding and riding bikes and actually seeing his real project. Show us the journey of them getting to know each other and eventually falling in love. Show us Kuea becoming mature and taking an active role in the family business helping it to recover. Show us Lian becoming more open to discussing important things and not waiting for a perfect time which (obviously) doesn't exist. Show us them loving each other they way they believe they could. Then towards the end, a new proposal, preferably successful. Maybe a wedding, not too sure about that. For Diao and Yi, (LianKuea stole the show today but we seems to have forgotten that these lovebirds problems are still unsolved) Give us DRAMA! Stress us out! We need father drama from Diao's dad, we need business deals stress, tense confrontations between the dad and Yi. We need Yi's secret exposed and use it to create a rift between them! Then, we can solve it. If solvable. Yi needs to bawl and Diao needs to feel deceived. Then we slowly bring them together and somehow solve the mess that is the dad drama. Also, Diao should tell his dad to stop using his incident to extort Yi. Then, its all sunshines and rainbows! But, they don't need to live together yet, let them date and learn about each other first. At some point both couples should address the fact that their relationship is based on grooming and that why I think they both need to have tough discussions, separate and learn about each other as adults and eventually fall in love. Nuea and Syn are just perfect, gosh! Love them. I would give them more screen time. Show how they got to kissing in the bar and from there how Syn will balance his religious duties and his relationship and perhaps help Nuea show his parents he's serious about the degree switch. I haven't though of a conflict for them but at this point since they're a side-side couple and I already put a lot of drama above, I'd prolly just make them the breath of fresh air. Giving them a healthy relationship.

I have been feeling this for a while but not been able to vocalize it. I have the words now. I think what irks me the most is that because of the age gap I expected some mature behavior from at least one person in each couple. I would be lying if I said that I didn’t expect Kuea to be more mature, but I very quickly came to the realization that was not going to be the case. What bothers me the most now is that not even the grown men Lian and Yi behave in mature ways. I propose that they all should be high school students because their behavior is more fitting. Lian and Yi shy away from having mature conversations, none of them have any problem resolution skills and most deadly is that none of the two know how to communicate. Kuea and Diao I expect wanted men to lead them (given that they are framed as the ‘submissive’ by virtue of being younger). The conflict is now that none of the Hia’s can adequately lead. There is distrust on both parts and secrecy and a commitment to not discuss anything remotely uncomfortable. I pause here to acknowledge that Diao is probably the most mature of the bunch as he has insisted on discussing real issues and feelings with Yi but then he lost it when he accepted a dog to fix all their problems (rolls eyes aggressively). At this point I’m only watching because I’ve already come this far. I will confess that I am in physical pain watching this monstrosity of events unfold. But to end, that’s what irks me the most. The fact that none of them (between LianKuea and YiDiao) behave with even a drop of maturity. Where am I now? NueaSyn Supremacy! Nuea is probably the most straight forward person, he wanted Kuea and was clear about it, now he wants Syn and and is direct. We love to see it! We love a man that knows what he wants and is direct about it (goes for Syn as well, (who is ready to sin(lol))). Ignoring the fact that the kiss was pulled out of thin air and their relationship needed a bit more foundational development to get to where it is. They are officially the best thing about CutiePie!
