Just finished all 24 episode and ........i think I might need therapy to get over the depression it has brought on. Even though this only half the show, this might be one of the most tragic endings I have seen.

Here after the first ten episodes. Really enjoying it so far. I like how the leads are developing affection mutually and not just one party falling for the other until later till the other suddenly falls in love. The ML and FL also look good together. The bubbly heroine x tsundere hero dynamic hardly ever goes wrong. I am guessing the FL will be protecting the ML in the future now that she is powered up and I am here for it. Even the side characters are well fleshed out.

Also, the special effects in this show are no joke. The costumes, music and cinematography seem extremely high budgeted too. I have big hopes for this.

They have made so many version of this show, but the Wuxie X Qiling bromance never disappoints.

I completely agree with your review. I really don't understand how people are giving it a 10. The plot is super cliched, the character dynamics are extremely repetitive to the point that you can pretty guess everything. Honestly, I am only watching because it has been a while since I've seen xiao zhan on screen.

I am on episode 25 and I don't know why but I am finding the show quiet subpar. Everything seems to be too predictable and plot is as simple as a historical drama can be. I can already see how the ending is going to be and tbh even the romance here is not satisfying enough to keep me hooked. I am forcing myself to watch it in hopes of it getting a little better.

I mean while the show is named "The wolf" , it plays no significance in the storyline past first 3 episodes.

Can't believe I've lived to watch this show get released lmao. Just gotta wait for the subs now.

I am going gaga over this show. All the characters seem realistic despite the ridiculous setting. I love how the couple isn't just randomly falling in love but has a gradual development.Not to mention the acting is great and the funny scenes are hilarious.If they made a thousand episodes, I would watch a thousand of them.

Also, Need me a man like kurosawa lol

Please watch this show with a bottle of anxiety medication and tissues. This is one way ticket to downtown depression.

Cheng yi is phenomenal though. Absolutely nailed the acting.
