She didn’t fit the synopsis in my eye… I just couldn’t see her as a CEO. I didn’t see no romance. Xu Kai made me watch this. I did fast forward all scenes that didn’t have Kai Kai in it. Styling wise zero. They didn’t even bother to change her hairstyle. I am not attacking her looks even though it’s a factor contributing to the flop of the FLs character. Certain carriage is required. It’s like when some actresses play their younger self in college and then you don’t see the difference in the way they act / carry themselves when their character has ‘grown’… Everyone has the right to comment. But when does one right trumps another?…

I would recommend watching all his Urban/Modern dramas first ( Falling into your Smile - Arsenal Military Academy - She and Her Perfect Husband - As Beautiful As You - Lost in the Kunlun Mountains - Best Choice Ever ). Then the Historical ( Story of Yanxi Palace - Royal Feast - Wonderland of Love - Court Lady ) , then the fantasy ones ( Once Upon A Time On LingJian Mountain - Ancient Love Poetry - The Legends - Dance of the Sky Empire - Snow Eagle Lord - Sword and Fairy ) I would’ve loved if I had such recommendations when I started fan -girling him lol … truth be told I think watching his dramas in this order is one of the best ways to ‘discover’ him and enjoy his growth.

I don’t know if it’s now complete because it ended on a cliffhanger. Xu Kai can play the twins ( Yuer’s character is like Chu Mu / Gu Yazhen and Hua’s character is like Bai Jue / Lu Si Cheng / Zhu Zhanji ) Peng Peng can be the Yulang Jiang or what’s that naughty boy’s name 🤔😂 I know some people said the trope is like Handsome Siblings ( I haven’t seen this drama ) but I think LT is somewhat different.

That was when I stopped watching TL As for DSE I stopped watching when she was gonna marry that Prince Mu or whatever his name was. I watched both up until that point because of my eye candy Kai Kai lol
