I have always wondered about this, because in a few cases I have gone back to re-watch an episode and have noticed that sometimes the subtitles change. When things don't make sense I often wonder how much has been lost in the translation.
Not just Ji ung, they all do. Why did CW started liking YS during the documentary when she did nothing but insult…
Do you remember which episode said that he dated others? I think I missed that part. I am sure I miss all kinds of things anyway because of translations... lol

Sure it happens. They still really loved each other. I have seen couples in real life get remarried after divorcing each other after a period of years.. sure it is not common but it happens. Now on the other hand, stopping your life for 10 years over a crush does seem unrealistic since there was absolutely never anything between them during that whole period.
I am sure a popular successful guy like Ji-ung would have met someone by now to drive away the "crush" feeling.
veryyy unrelated but this drama makes me want to buy galaxy z flip so bad.....
I don't know... that crease in the middle of the screen annoys me. It affects my OCD! I think the fold z has better separation on the crease, but they are both a bit pricey for just a phone.
Reminds me a little of "Before I Disappear" The main character is good at making these little animated cartoons..…
Yeah, it's kind of dark ... but it does have comedy in it too... It was based off an Academy Award winning movie short called Curfew. It's about 20 minutes long or so.. available on youtube. (If you care to watch)
Ep 12 left me with bittersweet feelings. It is nice and sweet that the main couple reunited and their awkward…
The second lead never had a chance past or present anyway. There is ample time for him to form a good relationship with someone else. All kinds of crushes going around this series! lol.
I found american romcom movie titled "The Art Of Getting By" and the male lead is basically Choi Woong 😂 He'd…
Reminds me a little of "Before I Disappear" The main character is good at making these little animated cartoons.. but he is a pill popping depressed loser. Pretty amusing film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luAEkofzM0Q
I believe you really dislike Ji Ung, because a lot of your comments are hate-related to him. Well, your opinion...…
Can I ask you what difference does it make if he was avoiding YS and CU together or her apart? The real truth is that she doesn't give a dang about him. JW is just doing it to make himself to feel better. Even the last time JW showed up at CU's house: "Okay, so you're telling me not to mention it because you don't want to know" "Okay, you're telling me to shut up"
The biggest problem with JW is his manipulations. Another issue is his jealousy over CU.. and occasionally a little hostile attitude plus his self justifications how he treats him because of YS.
I think their friendship is already in trouble. I think Choi-ung has known all along that Ji-ung likes Yeon-su.…
But Choi-ung has been questioning him before. "Chae-ran told me that you shouldn't be getting involved outside of filming" or "why did you come by here tonight" Early on when Ji-ung see's them together and Choi-ung see's that he is staring, he let go of Yeon-su's hand. Choi-ung seems that he has known for a long time on how Ji-ung feels. I guess we will find out soon.
I think most people here to watch choi ung and yeon soo. I'm here to watch choi ung and ji ung. LoL. I hope the…

Not sure why you think ML's character is more nuanced than JU when he barely steps out of his bubble of laziness…
Also, what is this drive to succeed for JU? I have only seen him working a job, not climbing the corporate ladder. CU spends more time working than JU.
Now thats a serious accusations you have on him,may be true or false,it depends on perspective
Well, he made a point to tell YS that "he didn't know why she wanted to appear. That she wanted to appear as Choi-ung's friend" What do you mean you don't know... YOU'RE the one making the documentary. He chose all the other friends to pick to interview. It seems obvious. I wonder who was taking the picture of Choi-ung and NJ at the restaurant too. It might be an appearance by Ji-ung's boss or the intern because he thought he lost his objectivity? The intern was keeping tabs on him and reporting to him. Maybe even Chae-ran?
How many times have we heard Ji-ung say "I decide what to shoot" ? I think that is the answer for NJ as well. It isn't like he absolutely had to have her for the documentary. I seem to recall Chae-ran asking Ji-ung point blank "are you making this documentary because of Yeon-su?" I don't recall him giving a clear answer.... just quite and "where is Yeon-su?" Ji-ung was even smiling at the dinner between he and Chae-ran when he was busted and said "do you think I am bad for deceiving my friend?"
I could be wrong, and I freely admit that the translations could be changing what the original meaning is. There have been instances where I have gone back to re-watch something I was confused by and have seen subtitles that have actually changed!
Don't be fooled, Ji-ung set it up for NJ to be filmed at Choi-ung's place. He knew after their slip the previous night that YS and CU spent the night together. He slept over that night and got right to it to film at the location. Do you think that all came from NJ? JU calls the shots on filming. Earlier he watched YS get worked up over watching CU and NJ on the swing. He is using it to try to make her crazy over it... so he can move in and be all smooth. He is a royal tool. Some friend.
