AHHHH they could have done better!! No wonder some people are complaining about its midway boring plot. I clearly was hoping for virtual red hair Kyungnam to be HOT and AGGRESSIVE not a cutiepatootie😭 it just lacks the reason why Mirae actually made HIM the ideal type out of all the boyfriends she has met. Also I wanted to see Jay Park and Jisoo's date more on screen, but it didn't put much contrast to what the show actually has shown. They were really far yet awkward asf. I wished they had a dance where it would later become a trend :(( Jaewook and Seongwu also deserve more screentime like the hype it had from the trailer. Sadly we have only seen them in formal fits. The confession feels so off as well. I get it that it was supposed to be funny but this "out of nowhere" type of confession ain't really my cup of tea. Since the trope is enemies to lovers, a angry confession would suit them better imo. (i wanted kyungnam to yearn for mirae sb)
AND I WAS REALLY REALLY REALLY HOPING FOR A MAJOR PLOT TWIST BUT THE PLOT TWIST WAS JUST HIM BEING IN THE VR. Sadly, I would say there isn't any twists beyond that. In my opinion, it could have been better if Kyungnam was actually the one behind every AI boyfriends Mirae had met but with different avatars and genres. Or like he's the one who created this. Moreover it could have been like this simulation was originally made for Mirae to know her better since their real life relationship isn't really that good to talk about each other's wills and likes. It would lined the plot more comprehensive as well as the male lead's importance on the series.
I wouldn’t worry about that, it’s doing well on Disney+ and the viewership ratings in SK aren’t that atrocious…
Then imagine how the ratings would be if there wasn't any cause of the controversy. ..people really shouldn't judge a book by its cover..still I feel sad for the team though ;(
I do have a small question though. I saw in some comments here saying that Soo Ho was adopted by his NK dad. Did…
We'll get Sooho's backstory/ past for sure in the upcoming episodes because as you can see a child actor will act as young Sooho but nobody knows when. Maybe it will happen when Sooho will found out that his father betrayed him?? And it's already written in a preview about his character that his real name is Ri Taesan and his real father was a musician and his mother used abandoned them (Sooho and Sohee) and they were poor. But Sooho was smart enough to understand these government spy- things really well. So maybe that's why his stepfather adopted him?
I have been suffering from all those tragic romance dramas for the past few months, I just saw some clips from YouTube of our beloved summer and the chemistry between Dami and Woo Shik is REALLY adorable so is this like lovey-dovey dramas?? Kinda like it will melt your heart because of its cuteness...?
In episode 8, there's a past scene when Dr.Kang (Mouran Hill 1) was on mission with Soo ho she asked him to sell that necklace (the dove necklace) but he said that the necklace is more important than his own life but when Youngro fainted (the time she was arguing with Soo Ho for his brother's death) she was with Dr.Kang and then Dr.Kang saw that necklace. So judging on her expression, it looks like she's kinda jealous or sad?
Wait- Dr.Chungya and Sooho might know each other? The way they both look so shocked when they had their eye contact.. some fans are saying that Dr.Chungya is Sooho's sister but in my opinion, I think she's the real Taedong River 1 or a well experienced north korean spy (senior of Sooho). Maybe she also has her mission in South as well but pretending to be in love with Nam Taeil for those information ? And Sooho's sister probably be like in Youngro's age, I hope we will see Chungya's real identity in today's episode because this theory of her is really confusing and also very interesting. And Yeong u please stay alive TvT
Not into politicians kdramas but this drama makes my mind blows up everytime even though it's only two episodes. I really like the cozy warm vibes in the dormitory and the chemistry between Jung Hae In and Jisoo. I'm not a fan of blackpink and I also didn't know who Jisoo was, but she proved me wrong she deserved to be known by all. I can't take her acting skills as a rookie as well. She's too good to be a rookie and I just finished D.P a couple days ago literally in love with Ahn Jun Ho aka Jung Hae In. I actually started watching this kdrama because of the controversy, I saw a lot of Koreans are mad at this. I also read the thread of @/gamatchun but this kdrama doesn't seem it like that at all. I didn't understand some parts but still it doesn't look like it's related to korean history. Maybe koreans are mad at this beacuse of it was based on the year of 1987? Who knows? Let's just wait till the all episodes. Hope koreans misunderstanding get off soon. But I'm enjoying this kdrama alot.
