I needed atleast another 3-4 episodes showing them together, their married life and their careers. Also them having kids….That would have been so amazing…maybe a season 2? We can but hope…..
I am crying. What on earth shall I do now that this drama has ended?! I need a daily dose of Li Xun and Zhu Yun in my life. I probably will keep watching their scenes together, scroll twitter and keep coming back here for discussions/comments. Can any other cdrama make me so addicted? I don’t think so!
I am so crazily addicted to not only the drama but also the discussions here. Proof? I still have not watched episodes 32-36, but I came here first and went though everyone’s comments. Even the spoilers. 😁 I have never done this for any other drama, ever. Never joined a discussion before for any other drama, ever. For me, L&P hands-down wins the award for best cdrama ever! There are flaws in the drama for sure, but the two leads have totally eclipsed them. I have a deep crush on both - their characters for sure, the actors too. Extremely talented along with extremely good looking! But I am not sure if I would like to see them couple up with other co-stars in other dramas ….
same here!!! I have already re-watched episodes so many times, when they made us wait from Thursdays to Mondays. Once it ends I have no clue how to satisfy this addiction!

I agree absolutely! This is what sets their relationship apart, makes their love story so unique. The unspoken understanding between them, their deep trust in each other, their love requires no labels or official status or a need to be loudly proclaimed. This is what makes Li Xun and Zhu Yun such a special couple.
YES the hug scenes are amazing. how can hugs be just as sweet as the kiss scenes? they look so warm together.…
Yes, they nailed the hugs! Never seen the same in any other cdramas. The hugs are tight, warm, and so natural - just the way couples do in real life. No awkwardness or gingerly movements when they hug…..it adds so much to their romance and makes their love story feel so real!
Thank God for the World Cup! Otherwise I would be climbing walls right now, waiting for the next few episodes of L&P. Meanwhile I keep rewatching episodes 3-19; keeps me sane!!😄

I am also surprised these two shows are often mentioned & clubbed together. I watched LBF&D fully. It was okay for me, I liked Dylan Wang. I find Esther Yu very pretty but her silliness,, her baby-like acting, coquettish pouting etc really puts me off. I found her the same in Romance of the Little Forest, a modern drama where she supposedly holds a PhD and is supposed to be intelligent. LBF&D could have been way better if the FL was different and showing more character and strength. Anyway it’s always to each his/her own. I generally find all the wuxia/fantasy cdramas quite silly, except for very few ones. The modern cdramas also are similarly silly, that’s why I find L&P stands out like a bright star. The acting is just superb. The natural feel, the cinematography, the direction is all on spot. Kudos to the entire team of L&P!
I usually never watch cdramas but Skate into love is my all time favorite...I usually find cdramas plot very draggy…
Oh, I also enjoyed Skate into Love. Like the lead in that one. Steven Zhang right? But the romance between LiXun and Zhu Yun in this drama is possibly the best I have seen in Cdramas. These two young actors have done a marvellous job so credit to them for making us fall in love with them!

I expected at least one sentence exchanged re her illness and his guilt before they went to see Prof Lin…..Anyways it was a good episode coz it ended with them being in harmony finally. “Ordinary colleagues” is fine because we know they are anything but that! Waiting eagerly for their lovey-dovey phase…😍
I have to mention one thing that I personally absolutely love about Lighter and Princess. There is no second lead/third lead love stories.. I really don’t like the cdramas which give equal attention to those second/third ones. Find it extremely boring. 😁
