In pastry shop scene we could actually see one of the morals of this drama, Well, TQ sees SCC being close with some guy he doesn't know, he assumes she is slacking off during work hour. He also thinks that she is lying to him again. He calls her and she thinks he is angry (again) with her for no reason. Now, he was not angry, he was jealous and she was indeed working. All those misinterpretations of events they were both in is the key for their relationship since Middle school, and a bump on a road that prevented them to be anything more than boss and coworker, without mutual trust.
He was there, he saw it with his own eyes, therefore it must be the truth. She was there, she saw it with her own eyes, therefore it must be the truth.
But, in reality, it's not about what really happened, it is always about our own perception and interpretation of those events. And we call it The Truth.
No matter what plot they come up with, no matter what they scheme, the bracelet is always one step ahead of all of them, messing with their plans and lives.
Now, we are entering The Water of Great Angst. I must admit it was not something I was hoping for. I’d rather have more light, funny stuff, like Tang Qi gets flustered, again, and his heart starts beating hard, again, for… granny!
I dropped this, I simple couldn't go on once they changed the actress. Leading actress looks and acts nothing like a girl who suffered so much and who spent last 10 years struggling on streets and in the morgue. Ju Jung Yi was floating around on some bubble cloud looking like fairy who just had the bath in the morning dew. She didn't care about her character, she didn't care about acting and she didn't care about the story. Her presence in this drama was simple fan service and nothing else. Good for her, bad for the drama.
