Is cheating main point of show? is it blood boiling? I can watch all type of sad and melo, but not where cheating…
The cheating here is used as plot device, it propels the characters forward but the story is in no way actually about cheating. Tbh, this is the first drama involving cheating that i was able to stomach. I only lasted 2 eps with VIP and 4 eps with TWOTM.
Tl;dr go watch it. Its been 2 weeks since i finished it and i still think about it constantly.
>I just hope that people can watch a male and female and be okay if it is this special yet nothing romantic or…
Yes, he was not divorced yet and I do agree that romance is not the right call, regardless of the loveless union they were in. He's a man of principle and I don't think DH would ever stoop so low as to commit adultery.
However, in the time skip many things allude to the severance of his marriage. So whether the papers are signed and they're legally divorced, or in the process of getting one, I feel that the marriage is as good as gone. If (emphasised on if) he does want to make things *official* with JA, I would expect nothing less of him than to start with a clean slate.
That scene of them meeting again after so long, man. It was so full promises and possibilities. The tone, the light, the smiles, and the steady gaze. It was just so pure that I can't help thinking it was purposefully delivered to mean something infinitely more.
Not a romance, but a love story. Beautiful, poignant, heart-rending love story. I think DH and JA would find each other in any other lives because if I could think of what soulmate would be, this is it.
