I'm confused why this drama and Ultimate Weapon Alice are both hard to find

You know what, you are terribly right. You've writen everything that's bad and good with this drama. How the characters are bland with no backgrounds, how the main plot just disappeared and how the cinematography is magnificent (seriously gorgeous). The rape scene was unnecessary and the relationship between Vegas and Pete looks rushed.
I didn't read the web novel and I'm glad, i'll have been even more disappointed.
It look like there will be a second season, but it's too late to put depth in this drama.
Finally, as I took time to write more on this, there is also a important reason to rewatch.It's for creative people…
As a former cinema's student, you're right. I had to rewatch movies 10 times, sometimes more, just to catch this particular techniques. But when you gain experience, you don't have to rewatch, or maybe just once, you just have the abilities to catch everything at once.
